Spacious, well-ventilated and bright facility with a large room and large tables to be comfortable. The kitchen, what to say about that kitchen! Equipped with everything you may need (there is even an ice machine) and a good size to be able to be several at the same time preparing food, appetizers, etc. Meanwhile, the youngest had a great time twenty meters away in the park facing the premises, isolated from cars because it has its back to the street. Valia Paschalidou: Very convenient location in the heart of Madrid. Great interior, amazing fluffy beds with all facilities. Super tasty food all times of the day! Nice roof top with great view! Staff was very friendly and helpful.
Mario Madrid: Very recommendable night club and restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Quiet spot right at the back of the cramped Castellana Avenue. Assorted original and well prepared dishes, a bit pricey but with excellent quality and presentation. Great service.
Naya Tsoroni: Bubbles, music and fun talks. This place is a Madrid classic! I love that it has the patio area during the summer where people can converse while holding a drink without the music blasting in. The indoors is fun too, although a little too crowded, especially after the pandemic. Angel at the door is amazing 💖
Katie: If you have asthma or just don’t like breathing in toxic cigarette smoke, then you should avoid this place. They have a plastic tent over the outdoor area to keep the warmth in for winter, but unfortunately this also keeps everyone’s cigarette smoke in. The management also let the capacity go way over limit, so we were constantly being pushed around, and I even had a woman drop her cigarette ash on my shoulder. I am disgusted, to say the least. For such an expensive club, I expected far better.

Rachael Cuevas: Went here with my friend who was visiting from out of town and wanted her to see one of my favorite places. I’d previously dined on the terrace before, and had gotten drinks from their bar on numerous occasions without any problem. However, the other night we ate at the Italian portion of the restaurant (Benedetto). We were originally going to order the burrata as an appetizer, but our waitress interjected and recommended we get the lobster carpaccio instead. We weren’t too sure but after she insisted we could get burrata anywhere else and telling us how good it was, we agreed. Big mistake. When we got it, it had a strong flavor and didn’t have any citrus/yuzu notes to it like the menu had indicated. Because of this I asked for a piece of lemon since we couldn’t continue eating it as is. The waitress first misheard us (even though I also speak Spanish) and brought a lemon soda. When she realized her mistake, she eventually brought back lemon wedges, but it took her almost 15 minutes to do so and we ended up getting our main dishes before we got the lemons. And after soaking the lobster in lemon juice, it was better but still not good. Fast forward to early the next morning and both my friend and I felt horribly nauseated and experienced stomach cramping. I ended up vomiting/dry-heaving numerous times in the first 2 hours of being awake and at one point thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room because I couldn’t even keep water or anti-nausea medicine down. Thankfully my friend wasn’t as bad as I was and managed to run across the street to the pharmacy for more medicine. We were miserable and in and out of the bathroom for 2 days. The Sunday and Monday events we had planned were ruined, and we are very much convinced it was because of the lobster carpaccio. Cool ambiance but sad to say I’ll never, ever eat there again.

Johan: Fulfils my expectations of a four star hotel. Rooms are clean and tidy, but would benefit from some more fabrics to improve the acoustics. Also, the doors of the rooms are letting in any noise from the corridor. Breakfast is decent.

Hotel close to a number of train stations, be careful of pick pockets very close to hotel espeically when arriving from train station on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Very convenient taxi station right outside hotel door.

The aircondition was very helpful and also the little fridge in the wardrope was used continuously. The service at the reception was very kind and courteous. The food at the buffet was quit ok...

Rameen Malik: The AC wasn’t working properly and the fridge in the room wasn’t operational either. The wifi disconnected every 2-3 minutes and wasn’t very reliable. Felt more like a 3-star hotel.
Maud Benaddi: We slept there for a night. Very convenient location if you need to catch your train, however, definitely not a 4* imho.Tiny rooms, no decorations, no fridge on the room, etc.But we slept well, the bed was good and the room was quiet!

N. Goldberg: I didn’t have much time so I just stopped by for a tea. The café is beautifully decorated and I like the menu. They have some nice things. It was very pretty and the cakes looked good. There was just something a bit off about the atmosphere, I can’t put my finger on it. Maybe because it was a bit dark? I think I would prefer coming here a bit earlier in the day when it’s lighter outside. But otherwise it was nice!

Sarah Vance: Super cute place right next to the Prado Museum and Retiro Park. Their cakes are to die for - all homemade recipes! The atmosphere is great too - perfect for merienda. I even hosted a baby shower here once and it was the perfect choice. Highly recommend.

A M: FOOD POISONING. Avoid at all costs. This place has cockroaches and is so dirty. I was sick for one whole week!!! Reply to the owner’s comment: It is indeed this place and I remember it perfectly…and more after the terrible week spent because of the hygiene issues the Salón de Té Sucre has. See the picture I have just posted taken in front of your place. Instead of reporting reviews you do not like, hygiene measures should be implemented.

Update: We inform our clients that shortly after this review was posted we were reported to the health authorities for the presence of cockroaches. They showed up unannounced and conducted a thorough check-up. We are extremely happy to report we passed the inspection with flying colors.

Irina Monreal: One of the best swing schools in Spain. The teachers are excellent, the staff that attends you is super attentive and friendly. The place is a fantasy: it is like traveling in time. Everything is decorated vintage style as if you were really in that time. Gas, one of the owners, makes some amazing cocktails. As a dance school, ideal to learn to dance and, in the weekly jams, perfect to dance and have a drink (the cocktails are super original). One of my favorite places in Madrid.
