Michael Scarn: I ordered a bike online and I'm very upset by the way it came. They packed the bike unassembled with the front wheel attached to the frame and right into the pedals, and as a result of that the front wheel is heavily off center. Also, the narrow box says THIS SIDE UP, but as you can check in the pictures, there is a side broken and with scratches. Anyway, not recommended at all if you buy any kind of bike, cheap or expensive (mine wasn't cheap)

Jennifer O'Mahony: UPDATE: Received a call from customer service after 5 days and they apologised. They are actually quite aware of the deficiencies of their stock system. Have now been refunded. Changing to two stars after this nice gesture but the below all remains true. I very very rarely leave negative reviews but in this case I just want to warn others never to use this shop’s website. In-store they are lovely and helpful, and on the phone too. But this is the story of how I’m €2000 out of pocket because of a Mammoth error (in all senses). I’m leaving this in English but all my dealings with them have been in Spanish. I want to help other foreigners who may not read Spanish to avoid this situation as there are plenty of negative Spanish reviews for those who do have the language. So: like many women there are very few bikes stocked that fit me but I finally located a Specialized that did and I emailed to ask them to reserve the bike so I could go and at least sit on it once before parting with €1300. Online customer service said no, not possible, if you want the bike you have to buy it straight up and then collect in store. So ok, that’s how things work in this shop but by the time they had replied the bike was gone/sold. The upgrade (€1999) was available in the same size with same geometry so I paid and received an email saying my order was processed. About a week later I received another email saying actually there was a stock error and they didn’t have the bike, and did I want to choose an alternative. I didn’t for the aforementioned reason that very few of them are the right size so I immediately asked for a refund. Same day, I was told the refund would be made. I paid by card so was expecting it to be immediate. I have ordered items in Germany and had refunds be made the same day. Well, three days later I have no money back, no bike, no apology and certainly nothing offered to make up for their mistake. My previous local bike shop let you take a potential bike for a spin (obviously taking a credit card as guarantee) and if anything went wrong with orders they offered you vouchers and sincere apologies for messing up. Oh, and they didn’t keep your money without giving you anything for it. In this case I just feel robbed of €2000 and amazed that anyone ever buys from the website if they are so disorganised they don’t even know their own stock and seem unable to process refunds. Very sad indictment of trying to support local business rather than buying from some faceless massive bike website.

Michael Patterson: Recently bought a quite expensive component with Mammoth that’s very difficult to install assuming they would handle the installation. When I brought it by the shop to have it put on, they charged me for the labor as well. Not a way to treat a recurring customer...time to find a new bike shop!

José M Alberca Gallego: What a great discovery this store + workshop and best of all, the people who work there are professional and empathetic, they listen, identify your need and give you solutions in everything, from choosing materials, components to repairs and parts. They are fast and effective. My experience with a Specialized has been 10, repair with replacement of three parts, an important fall that destroyed the wheel, changes, motor control in just 3 days. Bravooooo, you are now my reference store and workshop.

Ignacio Irurita: The shop assistants attitude varied greatly. I went to buy a dh bike helmet 3 days after new years, the shop assistant that day was not very helpful (proactive) and he looked like he didn't want to sell the helmet when I wanted to buy the most expensive one. The store is very large and for sure has a large sales volume, I think this is reason for their attitude, as they don't care if you don't buy because they are sure they will sell to somebody else. I went back to the bike store to change the size of my helmet and that day, the man who assisted me was much more freindlier and helpful. He talked me through all the helmet specs and made sure it fit me correctly, like any good shop assistant would have done, which is caring for his customers. If you are a person that wants to go buy some bike material but has little knowledge of what he is buying I don't suggest Karacol Sport, as you may encounter an assistant who doesn't help They have excellent stock though.

Lidia Nova: Great store, they have everything you need. The staff that treated me very professional and pleasant. The girl in the area of ​​helmets and protections, great, very friendly, knew how to recommend just what was adapted to what my son needs. Mario, the guy who advised me on which bike to choose, very professional too, hit the nail on the head with what my son wanted and what best suited what I was looking for. Rubén Rubén: After buying a bicycle here on a Wednesday (February 3) I make the payment by bank transfer through Santander quickly (February 4) they confirm that they receive my money (€2,249) they tell me that the bicycle leaves that same afternoon I ask for the number follow-up and they do not give it to me... in the end I find that the bicycle instead of leaving on Thursday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. as promised... it leaves on Monday, February 8... and the February 11th !!! The surprise is that it arrives beaten, the transport company, on top of bringing it late, brings it scratched and beaten.... when I open it I see that the boat and boat rack that I was promised does not come, they gave me some pedals it arrives in two weeks the boat carrier and a Mallot that is not good for me... that is... they open a claim to seur... since the painting had to be repaired, the solution until yesterday April 29, 2021 They paid me karacol Sport themselves €125 as compensation ..... when I agreed €300 AND THEY PROMISED ME THOSE €300 in account. after many messages, many calls, emails, that 70% never gave me an answer... the reality is that "cheap is expensive" and that's right, at first everything was correct, I loved the treatment and the bicycle but the service after having the problem leaves much to be desired, I attach photographs, I have not been treated as I deserve, I expected a bank transfer in my favor of the €300 that we agreed on and not €125 that I had to accept after almost 3 months of delay and dizziness... I will never buy a bike here again, I bought the bike from them and not from seur... so who has to answer is them, sure, then whether it covers them or not... It's not my problem, the bike should arrive in perfect condition, if not, then let them compensate instantly... but they've been making me dizzy for almost 3 months, I'll never forgive them. It was my fault for not reading the reviews of this place sooner.…..

Carl Springer: The people at Calmera Ciclismo Artocha are incredible. The staff, especially Javier, are excellent and so friendly. They got me a box to transport my bike (at the end of a 9-day bikepacking trip) back to my country, and even went out of their way to bring it to my hotel, as I arrived on a day when they were closed. They even included wrapping materials and sticky tape. And all that for free! Next time I'm in Madrid I will stop by and try to pay them back by buying equipment, to make up for the immense kindness they've shown me.

Ioan Bucuras: Where to start... If you are passionate about cycling, this is your go to address in Madrid. It combines three elements: it's a bike shop, a workshop where you can service your bike and a cycling club, organising tours for all (sporty) levels (A, B, C). I have serviced my bikes here and their professionalism and attention for detail is unmatched. The group rides on weekends are organised in a professional and safe manner and the cycling community present at this club is great. I have seen many bike workshops in major European cities where I have lived and can confidently say that this is one of the greatest there is. Highly recommendable place for any cycling aficionado.

Miguel Garcia Castiblanque: Perfect attention and service. Before a cycle tourism trip that I was going to do in France, I took the bike to change some things: gear cables, chainrings, sprockets, cranks, and they also helped me to adapt the rack so that it would not collide with the shoe brakes. Joseph Walker: I love this shop! A great selection of bikes, equipment and accessories that don't cost you a fortune. David and his team are really helpful, they offer a first class friendly, economic and efficient service. They make you feel warm and welcome, which not a lot of places do, and offer honest, professional advice on what equipment you need; if there's a cheaper alternative, they will tell you. Bought a bike from them that was excellent, and it came with a full guarantee and revision included. Went in for the first time in four months yesterday and they remembered who I was, what I'd bought, everything! A real personal touch that makes you feel at home. Recommend it 100%!

Shawn Cross: I've been to Spain many times to bike tour, and this Second Bike is always my preferred bike shop to visit. My Spanish is not so good, but David, the shop owner, is always very animated and willing to help. The other mechanic speaks English fairly well, so don't worry about any communication barriers. The shop only sells second hand bikes, but that makes it ideal if you're looking for replacement parts for an older bicycle. They have many new parts and components as well. Bottom line: fair prices, friendly atmosphere, and excellent service. I couldn't give this place a higher recommendation.

Aline Vallejo: We rent some bikes to walk through the Parque del Retiro and I really recommend it. The guy who treated us, very attentive. They have bikes of all sizes, for any age. They also have repair service and spare parts. The rent per hour is 5 euros. It's worth it, besides it's right in front of one of the doors of the park.

Alberto Pérez: It's been more than three years since I bought my bike there. Since then and, although I live far away, it is my main workshop where I go. The treatment is always great, the price is right and they do a first class job, not to mention that they have service and products for all kinds of bicycles, boards and skates. oj mac: NOT a stockiest of Specialized bikes since 2018 despite their website saying they are . I tried to buy a bontrager light mount - they had no stock of the mount but could have sold me one taken out of a box with the light included. They would only order me one . I cannot recommend this shop .

Pablo López: Buy a Mondraker Chrono through their website. At first it gave me problems so I called and they answered me by phone, they helped me to solve it quickly and I was able to order the bicycle. It arrived the next day, in less than 24 hours, perfectly assembled and packed, ready to put on the handlebars and go. When I tried it I saw that the derailleur was incorrectly adjusted, I tried to get help by phone but we were not able to solve the problem, so I took the bike to a workshop in my city and they made me a transfer for the amount of the repair. Sales and after-sales service of 10, very professional, since they could have blamed the transport and not have helped me. Highly recommended.

Jean Louis: Worst customer experience ever. They sell parts that they don't have in stock. Then they tell you that they won't restock in 4 months. Any other shop don't sell you any item if it's not in stock... They instead allow you to get notified once it's back in stock. The woman on the phone was rude and basically blame you saying it's your fault if you don't read the small print. Terrible customer service!!!

bigtraged: Absolutely worst experience. Bought two decently priced tyres through their webpage. Package has been disspatched in reasonable price. Unfortunately they use some small, aparently useless delivery company. Took two weeks and four very long phone calls to get them delivered. I've been said address didn't exist, (had to literary tell them to type address to google maps to see that they are wrong), then they told me they came numerous times and also called numerous times. Both had been lies, delivery address is 24/7 occupied, also haven't had any miss calls. Today package finally arrived, unfortunately with different (obviously worst) type of tires then i actually ordered. I cannot be even bothered to try make them correct they mistake. Take your money somewhere else, pay a bit more, but stay stress free. ___ Unfortunately I'm not allowed to answer further. So using edit to clarify. Why would i took a time and made up this story? Especially if I'm not even spanish speaker. To future customers: think twice before using company that instead of trying to contact me denied responsibility. To owner/employee. Tyres ordered has been schwalbe durano dd hs464. Tyres delivered schwalbe durano hs464. May seems like small difference, but check schwalbe web pages, they are two different types with different performance. Check with your customer service, I'm sure they will remember my friend Davide who helped me with this order. Phone calls has been long and painful even to watch.
