Response: Thank you 🤩 🤩🤩

Dominik Kohr: Bought a large red velvet cake and took it home. I was totally disappointed!!! Answer: thanks for your answer! The top layer was too thick and only butter. Furthermore the two layers in the middle were completely frozen! I guess it was cream? For this price really disappointed!
Response: Hi Dominik Thanks for your comments, in order to check internally and improve , would you be so kind to let us know what disappointed you ? Wicked Sweet Madrid: what do users think?

Trudy alia Narita: I love the cake so much, Zanahoria cake, chocolate cake😍, very good service, the decorations is also nice, over all everything is excellent! the owner, Sebastian was very helpfull, I would love to recommend this cake shop to my friends too, Muchas gracias!😊

Pilar Sanchez Labrador: Amazing coffee shop to go! It’s cozy and pretty. It mainly has coffee, cakes and cookies! Coffee is Nespresso and the bakery is homemade wich makes it good! Staff is really nice! And prices are okey. I Recommend it to go with friends or go work by yourself.

Sandra Morales: Nice and cozy place. The cakes are really good and tasty. There are a lot of flavors and they’ve cupcakes as well but it’s a bit overpriced. 3,80€-4€ for a piece of cake.

Fooding Madrid: We are DELIGHTED that you can eat in now!! Enjoyed some nice tea and a cupcake, also love the cookies and cakes. The icing-cupcake ratio is about 50/50 which, to us, seems about right.

Emmeline Hess: Huge disappointment!! My boyfriend got me a Guinness cake for my birthday and it was so hard it was difficult to cut and the next day (today) it had dried out so completely that we had to throw away the rest (and I love cake 😭) We ordered from them last year and the quality was way better, such a shame. Worst birthday cake ever.
Response: Hello Emmeline! We are so sorry that your cake was not as good as you thought. We would like to know more details of your experience. When did you buy it? We would like to compensate your bad experience giving you some free cupcakes. Please text me! 687717353.Thank you and sorry!

Alice Thomas: We ordered a bunch of mini cupcakes for a gender reveal and they were fantastic. Best cupcakes in Madrid!

K C: Yummy American/UK style bakery with pretty authentic flavors. Cupcakes, cakes, cookies and assorted other bakery items.

Ryan S: This is the best, and hardest working bakery in Madrid. The only place where you can truly delectable American style baked goods on this city. Cheesecakes, red velvet cake, carrot cake, brownies! All are delicious and made with quality, well sourced ingredients. Good baking starts with good ingredients, and they shortcut it. Delicious!

Aviva Bergman: Delicious sweets, well made and good service. Glad to see they're doing so well! A few years ago they were just a tiny spot and now they've expanded:) congrats and keep up the good work. There are lots of pastelerías that claim to be "norteamericana" and are far from it.

Jenny Kim: They have the best tasting carrot cake!!!!! The male owner was so kind . He let me taste the carrot cake and the ferrero rocher chocolate cake... recommend the carrot cake!

Sweet Cakes Madrid: what do users think?

Sarah Lewis: I ordered a cake for my son's 30th surprise birthday in Madrid and needed it to be delivered to our hotel. The cake was amazing and everything I hoped for. It tasted incredible... even 3 days later ! Communication and service were excellent. I would highly recommend Sweet Cakes. Thank you for making a special occasion even more special.

yasamin nadafian: I ordered this red velvet cake for my brothers birthday. It was so beautiful and smelled amazing. Also super delicious ❤️

Jess N: Best desserts in Madrid, the alfajores are the best I’ve ever had and the tres leches??? JUST PERFECT!!!! Also loved the carrot cake and hubby loved the cheesecake. Will definitely order again (Uber eats).

Isma Monroy: No puedo dar buena valoración. Tarta de queso con moho y otra regada por la bolsa y las demás tartas, desconozco si está cortada. Un peligro sanitario. I can't give a good rating. Moldy cheesecake and another watered by the bag and the other cakes, I don't know if it's cut. A health hazard.

I do not recommend it . Terrible service they said that the delivery would be from 5:00 p.m. I want it to be fresh, on top of that the solution it gives me is that I can cancel it and they return the money to me 10 minutes after celebrating the birthday and on top of that on a Sunday, making the order first thing on a Thursday. I do not recommend it at all.

Daniel Escobar carpio: Lugar muy recomendado encargamos una tarta 3 leche y estaba buenísima buena presentación y sobre todo trato cercano y profesional de las mejores tartas tres leche que he comido. Highly recommended place we ordered a 3 milk cake and it was very good, good presentation and above all close and professional treatment of the best three milk cakes I have ever eaten.

Totalmente recomendadas para buenos dulceros como nosotros We got to know the cakes through the different deliveries and we were delighted, we have already tried a few (Tres Leche, Carrot, Chocolate, Vanilla and Red Velvet) and the truth is that they are delicious: good portions, intense flavors, fresh and with beautiful decorations. Fully recommended for good confectioners like us

Muchas gracias We have been delighted with the cake they made for us, I made many versions of the cake until I reached the final result and they did not give me any problems. The final design is incredible, in person it is even more spectacular. In addition, inside it was delicious, we ordered it with chocolate and raspberry cake. Perhaps as an improvement, I would improve the packaging to make it easier to transport it, but I understand that being large this is complicated. They helped me carry the cake to the car. Another improvement would be that the balls were not made of cork, they did not notify me of that and more than one took a bite of the balls. Otherwise 100% recommended, they are ARTISTS. Thank you very much

Recomiendo 100% There are sweets in many parts, but less and less like the ones in this bakery. Craftsmen, good and quality. They adapt very well to current ideas, but maintaining the classic. Since I met them I have tried many cakes, biscuits, cakes, cookies and I love them, the chocolate cakes they have make me lose heart and excellent service, I am very kind, friendly and attentive to every detail. Keep it up guys. I recommend 100%

Derik INFANTE: Muy malo el peor de todos. Hice un pedido de 5 tartas por porción. Y después de 1:30 min me cancelaron la orden. Por q estaban ocupados. De verdad muy patéticos. Very bad the worst of all. I placed an order for 5 tarts per slice. And after 1:30 min they canceled my order. Why were they busy? Really very pathetic.
Response: Buenas tardes , la cancelación la realiza Uber eats por no encontrar repartidores disponibles para la zona de entrega. Un saludo Good afternoon, the cancellation is made by Uber eats for not finding delivery guys available for the delivery area. All the best

Sweet Brothers - Tartas Cakes: what do users think?

Taylor Miotti: Saw the reviews and I had to try it: I was craving for tres leches and it didn’t disappoint. It was amazing, if I’ll visit Madrid again, I’ll definitely go back to this place! Wide selection of cakes and extremely tasty!

Elba: They were super nice taking the order, the cake was ready when agreed, simple presentation (regular box) but overall nice customer service thus the three stars. I bought a Tarta de la Abuela and was expecting better flavors, i had high expectations and sadly the cake did not deliver, one of my guests liked it , the rest did not (including me). 1/15

Fred H.: Oh my god! I put on weight only looking at these cakes! Beatiful and the best part is that they are DE-LI-CIOUUUUS!!! Best cakes in Madrid for 3.5€ a slice. Very original cheesecakes: Kinder, Kitkat, Oreo, banofee, etc... This is the place to go. note: the site is super small, it is best to take it away and enjoy it while watching a movie at home 😉 But in cold winter days I had a warm chocolate inside with a slice of cake, both delicious!

Jhean Shirley: Ordered red velvet cake for my son's first communion and it's perfect! Also, I'm glad and very thankful the baker accept my order in short notice...

fernando gerber: Great cheese cakes! Good coffee! Oreo, Nutella, Dulce de Leche, Red Velvet, Chocolate, etc etc etc. Friendly guys and quick service!

D: The cheesecake is absolutely incredible, it melts in the mouth, definitely my favorite. I also really like the vanilla dulce de leche cake, quite sweet but really good. The red velvet was alright, it could’ve used a bit more frosting. But in general, this place is great.

Sarah Ranfranz: My favorite spot for cake in the city. It is the only cake that resembles American style that I have found to be so amazing. The death by chocolate is the best but there is also red velvet and Oreo cheesecake that are great too.

German Inostroza: Large portions but, the content is cream with whipped meringue. It has nothing to do with the traditional quality cheesecake made in the United States or with a Japanese recipe.

Karla Harms: Good cakes. I had the lemon pie which was good, but the pie crust was a bit soggy. Small space but spectacular service. Very busy, seemed to be quite popular!

Donna Germanotta: I fell in love with the Red Velvet Cake, extraordinarily delicious.

La Mallorquina: what do users think?

Michael Barton: I can't express how much of a tourist trap and delicious this bakery is. They're located on one of the most popular plazas in the country and get a lot of foot traffic. They create some of the most succulent and memorable pastries I've experienced. The bread is perfectly flakey, the chocolate is decadent, and the presentation is nothing but enticing. I can't wait to go back.

A B: Must visit this place. Stopped for a quick pastry and coffee on our Madrid walk. Amazing pastries !! Don't miss the chocolate filled croissant ! A wide selection of cakes and chocolate also available!

Emilian Cebuc: Nice bakery place and a pretty wide selection of pastries and other sweet and savory bites. Always crowded and the overall space to move around isn't too big. Similarly, there's no tables and chairs to sit in so if you're having something to eat in, you'll be standing kind of in the style of bars.

Lihi Bavli: We visited this patisserie, because the guide from the truth that we did in the city told us it’s considered to be one of the best in Madrid. I actually think it’s quite a simple place. I didn’t get to try a lot of the pastries but we did try to and they were good but not the best we ever had so I’m not sure I’m going to visit it again when I’m in Madrid, but if you wanna try some traditional pastries, I guess this is a good place to go.

Aleksandr Haskin Flute Channel: Fine bakery, VERY busy in the morning. Have to wait a lot to be served and the staff has no minute to take your order and get you the bill.Merliton is tasty, crispy tart with smooth egg filling.

Abigail Petlyarsky: DELICIOUS! We stopped in for a quick breakfast and everything we got was delicious! They are crowded and do not have places to sit. They do have counter space, but if that is full you might have to take it to go. Definitely worth a visit. We wish we went every of our stay in Madrid.

Christine Faith Gumalal: You have to be patient with the line (as it also moves fast). Take note that there is a separate line when ordering a cake (as I’ve learned that in an embarrassing way). Once inside, I highly recommend ordering the napolitana con crema! Or any other pastries because they’re all delicious.

Sandra Neuhaus: Placing an order was quick. Paying took longer. Service kind of hectic. Only ate sweet stuff which was really good. Probably due to Covid rules several windows had to be open which resulted in sitting at the table with the jacket on.

Trish Xoxo: Imagine having in your neighborhood an over hundred years old, beloved gustatory institution like La Mallorquina where traditional Spanish pastries and coffees are available daily for takeaway or a quick bite/drink standing at the bar, or upstairs with table service overlooking Puerta del Sol. We prefer the hustle and bustle of the bar where the service is efficient and no-nonsense and from where you can watch the animated, quick-moving line of customers eagerly waiting to purchase pastries to take home. Whatever you do, try an assortment of their baked goods, including the violet-scented whipped cream in the pan de nata (cream-filled buns), or the napoletana de crema or chocolate.

XINNING MIAO: Been there three times by now, trying to figure out the secret of this place. Oreo milkshake is my favorite so far. Other than that, I don’t really find anything that is impressive. But I would recommend to pay a visit just for experience. Also, I think the torrijas they have is a bit disappointing.

Cupcakes Happy To You: what do users think?

WG PH: Very nice yummy cupcakes. American comfort food. The owner is a delight. Will return.
Response: Thanks

Sneha Bhojwani: Yummy cupcakes!!We tried the carrot cake, red velvet, Nutella and Oreo cupcakes. The rich frosting and soft, moist cake just made them perfect. They weren’t too sweet either - just the way we like it. Will surely return!
Response: Thanks

Diego Caicedo: Professional, delicious just what our company was searching. Perfect for events, parties, etc.
Response: Thank you very much Diego

Álvaro Barandalla Sobrados: The best cupcake place in all of Madrid by far. Beautiful, personalized and delicious and fluffy designs. And very good price! We have already ordered our cupcakes there 4 times and will certainly continue to do so.
Response: Thank you very much Alvaro, I hope we continue doing more for other special occasions.

Sara Ventero Hernadez: Behind all the work there is a great professional, pleasant, friendly and who does everything with love and it shows in the final result, both the minicupcakes and the personalized cookies were delicious, and they are beautiful. That's how I managed to succeed. Thanks to Happy Cupcakes to you. I will repeat for sure.
Response: Thank you very much for your compliments Sara. It will be a pleasure to sweeten another great moment as it was to do it for the Christening of little Hector

José Carlos Navarro: Great cake, and they adapt to the needs

Marta: I ordered my red velvet cake on the inside and Wonder Woman on the outside for my 40th birthday and I couldn't be more delighted for such a special occasion!!! Thank you for being such a good professional! 💝
Response: Thank you very much Marta and now for another 40!!'

Ciel Mepstead: Thank you very much for your speed, professionalism and flexibility and most importantly delicious cakes and cupcakes! Everything was a great success and I am very happy to have your help to make a first birthday so special. There were many compliments on the creative design and the fact that not a single piece was left shows that all the guests and us were super happy. Thank you! P.S. Also the possibility of being able to order at home and the fluid communication by WhatsApp helped me a lot when there were so many things to do/prepare before a party.
Response: A pleasure , I hope it is the first of many . Thank you

Ana Martinez: I have had Sandra's pastries on several occasions, her cupcakes are fluffy and delicious. She always has my favorites in her showcase: red velvet and carrot cake. I love that the decoration of the cupcakes changes according to the season, Halloween, Christmas... It also caters to my pastry follies of putting cake pops in shakers and whatever I can think of as in my baby's baby shower. Always excited to sweeten the party. Super recommended!
Response: It's a pleasure to do crazy things together. Thank you

Gema GC: Great quality, I ordered a dozen cupcakes for a baby shower, and although I hardly gave them time they were 10. Great flavor, the perfect decoration and very juicy. Thank you!
Response: Thank you very much Gema , when we can make room for last minute orders , we do them . And if you are flexible it is much easier. A pleasure and I hope you repeat soon

WANNACAKE: what do users think?

Ruth. D: Artisan pastry shop. They make cakes, cookies, biscuits..., you can also customize them They also work for companies. I have ordered a personalized cake for my daughter's birthday, ANA is a charm, an artist, she has treated me phenomenally and my daughter almost had a heart attack when she saw her. Delicious chocolate cake, soft, not heavy inside and also spreads a lot I already have next year's planned.!!! Absolutely Deadly Roscones!! Impossible better, The ones with caramel cream DELICIOUS And the chocolate and almond cake for my mother's birthday is also a hit. Soft, delicious, not at all cloying.

E. Rey: I really lack stars to positively assess some of the things I tried from this bakery, such as the blueberry sponge cake, something out of the ordinary in its flavor, fluffy, juicy and with a sweetness that does not cloak, being perfect as a whole, for Also, as you can see in the photo that I leave you, even the decoration for my taste is great. Its taste is simply addictive. Be sure to try their shortbread cookies, another masterpiece. Of course the best discovery in years, wanting to continue trying all his creations.

carmen zarrias caballero: Third time I trust Ana for my son's birthday cake, she makes beautiful cakes and they are great!!! I also ask her to make me personalized cookies and they are spectacular! Keep it up!! Until next year!

ORLANDO TÜNNERMANN: My experience in this artisan bakery oven now converted into a retail pastry shop is magnificent, since before they only worked for large clients and areas. The girl who attended us, super nice. The pastries, all handmade, very very rich. Delicious chocolate slice or cupcake with strawberry and cherry on top. Super good muffins. It took me a bit to find the place, since it has some gates before entering without any indicative. Super nice and good the personalized cakes that make them super original.

Carmen Benavent Valero: It has been a discovery for the whole family, not only do they make personalized cakes that are a true work of art but they are also delicious, at home we are a fan of blueberry filling, also of their amazing butter cookies. This Christmas we ordered the roscón de Reyes, some Christmas tree-shaped biscuits and some cookies with beautiful Christmas motifs that we used in the decoration of the tables, they sent everything to Galicia and it arrived in perfect condition. They are very professional, we recommend it one hundred percent !!!

David Erdozain Botella: Spectacular, highly recommended. The excellent treatment and the cake that I bought for a birthday was beautiful, a success. He put a 24 cookie, Filipinos, strawberries... Amazing 👏 Thank you very much! Don't hesitate to go!

Rahul Assomull Chanrai: I only have words of gratitude to Wannacake for being present at moments and events as important as our wedding, birthdays, Christmas parties and our son's Baby Shower. GOOD CAKES, CAKES AND COOKIES!!! Well decorated and super rich.

Jose Fco. Alvarez Garcia: Delicious. Cakes, cookies, cupcakes, muffins and everything with the love of Ana.

Marta de la Torre: I would recommend it once and a thousand times ... not only creativity and perfection in everything they do but they also use only real ingredients, no preservatives or anything similar ... sugar, butter and flour ... Their breakfast cakes delight from my family but also from our clients since in my business, when I want to pamper a client, I give Wannacake!

Alfonso A.: Good products. With very good flavor and texture (muffins, cakes, cookies...). Good attention to the public. prices a bit high

Freedom Cakes Café: what do users think?

Antonio Lacosta: My partner and I visited Freedom Cakes for a breakfast and our experience has been very positive. The customer service was quick, friendly and efficient. The guy who served us even spoke English! The food was really good too, and I enjoyed my coffee as well. As we didn’t know the size of the portions, we ordered quite a few items in the menu (this was a mistake as portions were, in fact, quite large). We enjoyed the Strawberry & Banana pancake the most, it was really outstanding, but everything else was good too (aside from the tomato toast which was a bit dry). My oat cappuccino was delicious and churros were nice too. The restaurant looks modern with some cool decorations which is not the case for most restaurants in central Madrid! Great experience overall and we will definitely go back to Freedom Cakes next time we are in Madrid.

Melina Ghasseminejad: Best vegan cakes I’ve had ever. Like seriously. Even the cheesecake is brilliant. I usually don’t like vegan cheesecakes as they’re usually nut based, but this is either not the case or the texture has been manipulated. Also, not just good for vegan cakes, just good cakes in general with the added benefit of being vegan. Super moist and a rich frosting. The cakes were so good we forget to take pictures before we started eating them. The pink panther and red velvet are recommended.

Hadyn Henderson: This place was AMAZING. The service was great, and the food was incredible. Being able to eat delicious food without dairy was a dream come true. I'll probably be back within a week. A must see for vegans and those with dairy allergies. Even my non-vegan / allergic friends were super impressed.

Carmen Trefas: Fully vegan cafe with lots of options such as pancakes , cookies , cake , ice cream & more. Fairly good value for the price to quantity ratio & friendly staff. Would recommend ! I tried the pink panther cake, carrot cake & ice cream sandwich. I thought the cake slices were a bit small considering their price, the ice cream sandwich seemed like better value for money.

Lara Horvat: Really cute vegan cafe in a great lively location. Friendly and fast staff. Amazing milkshakes and ice cream. I had oreo milkshake, a scoop of chocolate ice cream and a white chocolate cake. The cake was a little bit disappointing, it was one layer of sponge and a layer of really heavy cream filling, with delicious white chocolate on top. The sponge was nice and fluffy but I really didn't like the cream, it was tasteless and heavy. But I would come again and try some other stuff, maybe their pancakes or waffles!

Janis O: If you can’t (or don’t) eat dairy, it’s almost impossible to find good desserts anywhere. This place is incredible and definitely worth visiting. The staff spoke fluent English and were very friendly. The interior of the place is also very funky and interesting. Next time I’m in Madrid I’ll be back to try out the rest of the menu 😋

Victor Correra: If you’re vegan and looking for dessert, look no further. This is the place. I came here because I saw that everything was vegan. I ordered the cheesecake and the cupcake. Both were amazing! I cannot recommend this place enough if you’re looking for vegan desserts that are really tasty!

Silver Wotton: This is the best place for sweet food in Madrid! They have the best variety of vegan sweet food such as pancakes, cakes, ice creams, pains au chocolat, croissants, palmeras, etc. The service is quick and waiters are always friendly. It might get busier on weekends in the afternoon but otherwise there's never a lot of waiting to be seated. The food is very delicious!

diego: Absolutely tasty food, we went two days in a row because we loved it so much! Ordered the English Breakfast brunch deal the first time around (which is pretty well-priced, considering it includes a drink), and the Freedom Hotdog the second time (which is also really delicious and well-worth the price! I also got a purple chai tea they had on their christmas menu); would definitely recommend this place, as we went with a few omnivores and even they loved the food here!!

Jaime Andres: Really awesome vibe! The menu is an English which is convenient for travelers. And of course the best part is everything is vegan. The interior is very "cute". Located in the heart of Madrid this place is a must for all vegan with a sweet tooth. PS- Try the "Death by Chocolate" if you love chocolate.

Pasteleria Creativa Javier Ramos: what do users think?

Lukasz Zbylut: This is an excellent pastry shop with lots of patisserie choices in flavors that you probably have not experienced before. I especially liked the apple and hazelnut and passion fruit pastries. I would highly encourage you to order four or five pastries at the outset and see the reaction of the store clerk who might discourage you from indulging so much. I found a place to be very pleasant and friendly and plan to go back in the future.
Response: Thank you very much for your nice review. We are truly pleased to have surprised you and hope to see your back soon.🙏👏🏻

Aly Haidar: Very delicate taste and creative designs, one of the best tarts bakery I have ever tried
Response: We would like to thank you for your nice remark on our pastries.🙏 It means a world to us. To us, it is hard work that pays off with happy customers.

Elena K: We had very tasty little cakes there! Totally recommend to try, especially De Madrid a cielo
Response: We are delighted to know that you enjoyed our pastry of coconut and milk chocolate.😋🍰 Thanks a million for your kind review.🙏

Sameiet Seilduksgataseks: Excellent quality, really creative cakes and pastries. Adorable owner. Only 6 seats in the shop, definitely worth a visit if you’re in Madrid.
Response: Thank you so much for your kind review. It means the world to us. It was a pleasure to have served you, and we hope to see again very soon.🙏👍🏻👋🏻

Cheryl O'Neill: A bit of heaven! Delightful designs, delicious fillings - maybe you will be brave enough to try the Tim Burton...I had the raspberry cream filled lips - scrumptious!

Baiba Krauze: I was so excited to see a shop full of such beautiful cakes. I could only buy something to travel with, so I chose the chocolate covered palmeras that looked delicious. Little did I know what disappointment expected me. The first bite I took, I had to spit out the palmera, because it was not covered with real chocolate, it was covered with chocolate substitute that contains palm fat! I find it really hard to understand, how such a good product can be ruined by covering it with what is to me personally a product not fit for eating, there is no enjoyment for sure, even though the actual palmera was delicious. I don´t see this as a professional person, who would do something like this. I really don´t mind paying more, but I do expect to be able to enjoy a product, otherwise, I could just buy Donuts from a supermarket, that is all covered in palm fat, no need to go to a bakery and pay more, now I am really starting to doubt if the products are even made there. I don´t like to give bad reviews, but my experience was just horrible, and I was going to share them with my work colleagues, now I really can´t. Real chocolate does not have to be expensive to be good, but of course one needs to know how to work with it, could that be the problem? I don´t see any other possible reason to sell things like this.
Response: Thank you for your review. We are very sorry for your disappointment with regard to our Palmeritas, one of our top-selling products. They are glazed with "pâte à glacer". In its confection coconut oil was used, not palm oil as you stated. Why do you take this for granted is something that has shocked us... Palmeritas and other "dry products" are elaborated in my family's bakery in Castilla La Mancha. That is why I know how they produce them and what ingredients do they use. Palm oil has never been among those ingredients. On another front, the weird thing is that as being a pastry chef as you well told me when you where at the shop, you could believe that a bag of 4 Palmeritas covered in 100% chocolate would cost you 3,00€? That's naïve at the very least... I can see that you "hate" criticizing other pastry colleagues, not to say, calling into question their professionalism. So, I will take good notice of your review and I hope to have the chance to learn from you and you savoir faire in my next visit to Asturias.

Margaret Gallas: Amazing pastries, coffee, lemonade, eclairs, and atmosphere. Without a doubt, the best pastries I have ever had in my entire life! I am so lucky to have ordered some of their pastries for my wedding, they were everyone's favorite! The pastries are somehow as beautiful as they are delicious!

Pedro Caballero: This place has amazing, artistic, delicious cakes/desserts. Personal sizes are available instantly, if you want a larger cake you must order it two days in advance. The coffee is very good, and they also have baked good.

Stav Gizunterman: Wow! Amazing desert. Surprisingly encountered this outstanding place.Great taste and outstanding look.
Response: Thank you very much for your review. It's very important to us. We work intensively to create unique and artisan pastries for our customers. That's the reason why reading remarks like yours makes us feel rewarded for such long hours of hard work and effort.🙏 It definitely pays off.

Niyi Adeleye: Great little bakery with amazing products. Everything is made with care and attention to detail. I live nearby and it will certainly become a favourite of mine when I am craving something sweet! Definitely recommend

Motteau Pasteleria: what do users think?

Kristýna Dočekalová: The place is absolutely amazing. It just moved to my top three Madrid food favs honestly. The owner (or the guy selling the cakes, not sure) was charming and very nice. He also speaks English, which is a rare thing in Madrid’s small shops. We got a red velvet cake and everything about it was just perfect - taste, consistency, not too sweet but sweet just enough. Definitely going back soon! 😊

Annie Garcia: On a narrow unassuming street in the heart of Madrid is my favorite place in the world! I discovered @motteaubakery 4 years ago on one of my many visits to this beautiful city! Every dessert is made with love in a small 10’ x 10’ kitchen by in my opinion, the best pastry chef in town if not the world! His double layer red velvet cake is a perfect balance of moist mild chocolate cake and lightly sweetened cream cheese frosting. The apple tart has the tastiest buttery flaky crust that is topped with large pieces of soft apples baked with a hint of cinnamon. He has a desert that fits everyone’s taste from simple Financier to divine pavlova! If you are in Madrid, this place is a MUST #dessert #postres #madrid #madridspain #spain#adventherfoodie #delicious #bestdessert

Janja Jurjevič Lermontova: I was looking for breakfast and found this amazing place. The atmosphere is great and staff is very helpful and friendly. I really enjoyed the desserts, especially the one with walnuts.

Yona Kravets: Stopped by Motteau’s 3 mornings (out of 5 that we stayed in Madrid)…. That says a lot, I think! Cozy place with hospitable staff. Delicious cup of coffee with something sweet to satisfy every craving! We tried strawberry/pistachio cake, cinnamon roll, strawberry roll- all were quite amazing!

Grace Park: Got there during lunch time and the few tables inside were occupied with a line outside. Half of the desserts you can’t see while you’re in the store to ask about so make your decision before you go in. There was no line to takeout! I got a slice of carrot cake and indeed it was sweet without feeling like it was overdone! Moist and delicious.

Alexandra Stefan: Everything looked and tasted delicious. We went there two days in a row, the stuff is nice and friendly, products are top.

Samantha Vega: Wonderful pastries! We stayed at an Airbnb right across the street and found this place to be lovely, casual and with a very nice ambiance.

gerry morales 16: Really nice people thought it was so cool how you can see them make all the baked goods 10/10 place got a coffee and a lemon bread and both very good

Moez Khan: The best gluten free sponge cake with cream, strawberries and pistachio I have ever had in my life in any country in the world. You will not find a gluten-free cake so moist and creamy as this anywhere else!
Response: Thank you !!!!

Stacy Bryan: My son and I stopped here on the way to the Prado. He got a brownie, and I got a canelé and a cappuccino. Dang, it was all so good. We were so lucky to find this wonderful shop with such great food and wonderful service.

Santa Eulalia: what do users think?

RJ S: Cute little bakery in the center of Madrid. Great coffee and awesome atmosphere. The building is uniquely designed and has plenty of seating. The coffee and drinks are of a high standard and the menu has a variety of options like toasties and eggs. The bacon is rather tasty Breakfast in Madrid is quite expensive and this place is no exception. Service is quick.

K Black: The pastry shop is pretty big with well spaced tables. The interior is pretty attractive and houses a historical detail of old Madrid, which one can peer at from glass panes on the floor. Ordered coffee lattes and pastry plus pastrami sandwich and expresso. Found the coffee, the pastry, and the sandwich quite ordinary and too expensive. The service was not that great either. The waitress was not familiar with the shop’s products and didn’t know what pastry we were trying to order from her.

Ni: Not sure why this place doesn't have 5 stars! The service is amazing and they recommended the most delicious pastries. Their in-house orange juice is blended with carrots and apples as I can recall, which definitely takes it to another level. There is a ton of seating and there are even ruins which you can see under glass in the back of the store! It's amazing. Every aspect of this patisserie exceeded expectations.

Witch-King of Angmar: Thank god I don’t live here or I’d be here every day. The employee recommended the Kouglof, which is a pastry that looks boring, but my god. It was incredible. The coffee was hot and delicious. I love it here

Milton Yang: An amazing patisserie with an owner/baker and wife who are so warm and friendly. One of the most memorable experiences of Madrid. The quality of the pastries is up to par with the best Parisian patisseries. If we lived in Madrid we’d be here daily!

Diana Špoljar: Artisan bakery with an ample pastry selection. You can get it to go or sit inside and have a cup of coffee (non-dairy milk available). Also, they have a nice selection of savoury breakfast/brunch dishes, but only one vegetarian option (!). The food and the setting is very nice, but the staff could be friendlier and the bathroom cleaner.

Maria Milea: The pastries and cakes are delicious (although some of them were a bit too sweet for my taste). The coffee is good also.

Jonás Ansó: Good cakes and pastriesLarge salon in the back and quiet relaxing music. Good for a long rest or to do some work

MsCastroRides Lupe Castro: Met a friend for a working breakfast and it’s perfect .. they do all sorts of coffees and teas and a variety of chais plus they bake there own pastries .. loved the service and they really made an effort to get it right . And they have oat milk !!! Brilliant ..

Vincent Louise Sanchez: The first time I was here was last Saturday with my colleagues. I am fascinated with their interior especially with the glass floor and the peacock display. I had a very good impression. The next day, Sumday, I went back with another friend who is new to Spain. However, I ordered croissant with ham and cheese but it took forever for my order to arrive. I was about to cancel my order as I had other appointment, but they insisted that it is coming already. I would rather go somewhere where service is given premium, than staying in an impressive stylish café, but does not have a good service. I hope they can improve on this. Thanks and more power!

Tony Kehlhofer: This cafe/pastry shop has a storied history. That said, it’s quite stuck in the throes of hyper tourism. Crowded, long lines and incredibly noisy. All that can often be dealt with if the food and drink are top shelf. But the coffee and cocoa were cold. The cookies were a bit stale and the would be Sacher torte my friend ordered did not come close to looking or tasting like the original. Might be worth another go on a less crowded day outside the holiday season.

Debanhi Castro: Beautiful antique pastry shop. The service was fantastic. Lovely for buying sweet treats to go as they wrap them with a lot of care. Obviously delicious too (otherwise it wouldn’t be a 150+ year old shop)

Boris Várhelyi: Really liked this place. Went there for "pre-lunch" sweet snack and the palmeras cake along with the espresso were both very tasty. The staff there is friendly and kind and can more or less chat in English. The prices are indeed affordable and the overal atmosphere of the place in the city centre is just great! Sitting outside not possible.

Joseph Moreswiss: One of the best and traditional place in Madrid to enjoy bakery. Suizos, lazos, torrijas, croissants, pastas de té, milhojas, chocolate, café, te… Do not forget to have a coffe/te here, is a must in Madrid… it’s open since 1855!!!

Adam Clutterham: Absolutely beautiful chocolate and pastry shop! Their hot chocolate and soletillas were fantastic and the hot chocolate is made from melted chocolate rather than powder! Unless you are both chocolate lovers then I would get one to share. The hot chocolate is rich and delightful and the ornate decoration inside transports you to a different and traditional time. One of the best experiences we had in Madrid

Nicholas Clapton: Another establishment deserving six stars! It has a wonderful, historic atmosphere, and the range and quality of the cakes, biscuits, and sweets is amazing, plus excellent coffee. As to cakes: if you've never had "Ponche", you MUST, especially if you adore marzipan as much as I do!

All Things Spain: One of Europe’s legendary classic Cafés, purveyor to the royal court. Delectable baked goods in a Old World setting.

Dave Sawyer: Lovely pastry and cappuccino. Would visit again…maybe a cake next time :-)

Cheryl O'Neill: Step back into late 18th c Madrid - ornate surroundings, an array of unusual pastries, attentive staff who wrap your purchases in paper and ribbon! And by the way...delicious!

Joseph Carideo: Rushed , Cold food, if you wanna relax, don't go there. Cold tea, don't order the napoletana with cream, it has no cream. Not a very pleasant experience.

Response: Thank You so Much! 😍😘

Wala Lang: For our 5th month anniversary, I wanted to surprise my fiance but with the situation now and the distance it seemed way far-fetched. Tart tart cake shop has the same motto I have; everything is possible and they made it possible for me to send one of their best selling and exquisite cake to my fiance in Madrid. All thanks to José Adrián for the courtesy and making it all possible. The Choco velvet is "qué rico" as my fiance would phrase. He was very glad with the surprise. If only tart tart have branches in Murcia and the Philippines...Thank you so much for a great service and the yummiest Choco velvety cake made with love 😉😘😍
Response: Thanks for letting us be part of this lovelly and sweet surprise. It has been a pleassure.

Julia Povilaitis: Amazing! The Matilda cake is super moist, one of the best cakes I’ve ever had.
Response: Thank you so Much Julia! It is an Honor for us to please you. Come back soon , there are a lot more cakes to try

Nicole Chavarria: Riquisiimass!!!
Response: Normal Nicole, we do them with all the love

Sandra Gomez: Incredible!!! First the order; everything super easy and fast, he helped us with everything and very well. The delivery, great, very well kept and great. And the cake… one of the best I've ever tasted; without any doubt we will repeat !!!
Response: Thank you very much Sandra! We hope to be able to please you again very soon.

Gloria Mejia T.: In December 2021 I encountered an unforeseen event and ordered a cake, despite the fact that it took only 3 days to order it, they made it without a problem, I was delighted, in June I repeated it and I could not be more satisfied. Very good cakes, unmatched flavor and quality and the tres leches has no comparison. Thank you and I will repeat soon for sure, highly recommended !!!
Response: Thank you very much Glory! Always at your service

Patricia Sabando: Uufff!! Their 3 milk cake is unbeatable! Real authentic. The very good-tasting and very moist sponge cake made with authentic 3 milks, covered with a very fine whipped cream and not at all heavy. Sweetly delicious! You make your order easily by WhatsApp and pay by Bizum, it couldn't be simpler and they are super friendly, fast and attentive. Let's go in my house no other cake that is not Tart Tart enters 😋🎂
Response: 🤤 reading this we have even been craving one of our juicy 3 milks. Thank you very much for such a good review. Soon the Matilda 😉

patricia carrasco: The cakes are too good! Yesterday for my boyfriend's birthday I bought one of three milks of dulce de leche 😍 it was too good, super fluffy, divine, speechless with how delicious it is. It is worth too much, 100% recommended.
Response: Thank you for inviting us to such a special celebration and for the good rating. We make them with love

Grecia Valbuena: I have tried several flavors of cakes and they have all been delicious! Then you check that it is so when the guests ask who made the cake and ask for the contact. It is a handmade cake, it has an excellent appearance to decorate the table, the taste is exactly what it promises. On this occasion I have ordered strawberry because it was for my daughter and according to the decoration it tasted like fresh fruit. The filling has pieces of natural strawberry. Price-quality ratio is very good.
Response: It's nice to read this type of review 😍 Thank you Greece, for valuing our work and products so highly. We will always be happy to please you

Evan Kuo (Taiwanese in Madrid): I have been coming here to buy their desserts many times in the past, now they have this new salon to let you enjoy some coffee or champagne. Also the most important for me to enjoy desserts here. The new salon is really comfortable and well decorated with good design. We will definitely come back for more times in the future.

Belkys Diaz: Fancy little shop with adorable n tasty pastries. We could not get seat anywhere it’s bit small but they have an adjoining room unfortunately it was full. Had croissant n bf some other bread topped with sugar.. both were ok I guess it would taste better if we could sit n join with coffee😎😎

Andrea De Reggi: It’s definitely a unique place, I would have tried everything! The selection and look of all the pastries, cakes and so on is very inviting, I only tried a croissant and it was OK, probably not their strength, perhaps a different type would have been better..the place is simply gorgeous, very elegant and classy, spending some time enjoying tea and cake in this place is definitely something I will do again if I come back to Madrid.

Katie Sanderson: 4. Ferrero @ 📍 @laduquesitapasteleria Thoughts 💭 Really tasty. The chocolate was fantastic. The Center was a little runny but overall a delightful little cake.

Monica Rivera: Wide variety of pastries. Had the chocolate cake with some kind of crust which was tasty. Chai infusion was ok. Friendly staff. Cute and cozy venue, with a couple of high chairs and tables. To go service available.

David Rojas: Superb French patisserie, definitely one of the best in Madrid. It is difficult to get a seat since the place is really tiny, but you have the take away option. If you stay, the coffee is good and the vibe of the place kind of rococo, resembles the Magestic cafe of Porto. A must if you like sweet desserts.

E P P: Amazing pastry place. Probably the best croissant and palmera de chocolate that I ever tried. The coffee is really good too. For less than 10 euros you can start the day with a great breakfast.

Rick Crespo: Lovely! Had the postre de queso which was silky and creamy plus cafe latte. Beautifully decorated cafe with friendly staff.

Juan Navas: Pastries and truffle are out of this world. Great place to hang after lunch. Enjoy the pipnono, the palmiers and special hot chocolate tea

Ju MK: Old pastry shop from 1914, they offer a variety of traditional pastries and cakes. Great service, very limited seating, the pastries were good.
