Javier P: Veteran garden center with many decades of presence in this place. They have all kinds of plants and accessories. They do gardening and garden work. They are very nice. You can park for free inside the enclosure. They are the same as on the A-1 almost in front of the Jarama circuit, they had a farm called Huerta de Santa Marina (later unified in Casla), where Mariano Casla, the patriarch of this family, also lived.
Javier: I went to see plants and possibilities to design a garden. Once there, no one asked me if I needed help. I decided to go to their website and fill out a form with photos and needs. It's been more than 3 months and they haven't answered me either...

Fred H.: This is a cute shop. Prices are reasonable. The staff know their plants. It is smaller than others of the same brand. They have real few and basic bonzais but they have some interesting selections of plants. I liked some of their plant pots too. Their Siamese fighting fishes were in the darkness, I could not appreciate them.

Kae16 kae: I Love this place. So many variety of bonsais, bamboos and other plants. We keep on coming back in this place. It's truly a paradise. There are always new things and plants. Lately they had major renovation in the area and I find it truly delightful. I am not expert with plants but coming here you can find everything you especially for a beginner like me.

Carla Hurt: Do not purchase plants at this store. It is overpriced for mediocre plants and zero attention to client services. If you buy a plant with bugs or diseases they will not refund you or give you a credit. We bought a plant Friday, found out it had bugs Sunday when we went to water it, and immediately went back to return it for a credit. They refused to acknowledge any bugs but later on the phone said those small flies are common. Ours is a new home and only has plants with no bugs from their location. No attention to the client here and patronage is not appreciated. Look elsewhere.

Irene Verdes-Montenegro: Rude and unpleasant store manager. We asked for a rose with eucalyptus and they gave us the typical branches of horrible white balls, they also had to print a greeting card with the photo of my children and they put it upside down. We complained to the store and in addition to treating us horribly the manager, they did not change our card, nor the branches of the roses, nor did they return a penny. The roses lasted 2 days, they were not fresh. Terrible experience, not recommended.

maria lucas: I love this store, they have great flowers and plants that last longer than if you buy them at other nearby florists. The quality, the work and the experience are noticeable. The treatment is excellent and I am always very satisfied, when I have made an order to give as a gift, they have always congratulated me for the pleasure I have had, but the credit belongs to the florist! I recommend her without hesitation!

Thien Tan Banh: During walking on the old town, we were attracted by this outdoor decoration and decided to visit inside. What surprised us was how beautiful flowers they have in store. All fresh and well done setting by professional team. In only 10mn, they have done 3 huge rose vases and a bouquet of mixed flowers. Super friendly owner who welcomed us to come even only for photos. Davide Giampà: Such an amazing experience. It has a store inside and a beautiful garden outside. The entrance is free and every Saturday there's a free tour portrayed by Mercedes. It's really interesting and funny. I highly recommend a visit if you're looking for a different spot in Madrid.

Beautiful landscaping and impressive cacti to see, and a great shopping experience, learning about the different habitats of these plants, and specific instructions to take care of them. Staff is helpful and knowledgeable. It’s a bit far from Madrid but it’s worth the visit.

Blanca Biel: I visited the garden right before Christmas 2019, during a short travel to Madrid. We were able to attend the free talk by Mercedes on a cold Sunday morning. Despite the not-so-friendly weather, we enjoyed the three hours visit thouroughly. It was most interesting and entertaining, full of facts and anecdotes. Even my boyfriend, who doesn't particularly like plants, kept his attention during the whole time and enjoyed learning so many curious things. I don't know whether all visits are that long, but people were free to join and leave the group at any time (very helpful for families young children.) The site itself is beautiful, really pleasant to simply walk around, and the nursery is also very impressive and a dream for succulent-lovers. I particularly like the fact that they do research on several aspects regarding cultivation, propagation, etc. Not living in Madrid, I recently placed my first order online and I am extremely happy with it. Both plants and tools arrived very quickly and perfectly packed -in a cute paper printed with interesting facts about xerophytes, perfect for gifts!-, with the cacti carefully wrapped in plastic film to avoid damage. I'm looking forward to moving to a bigger house with more space for my plants and I'd love to hire them to design the garden. Really nice project.
Daniel Alexander: Not a botanical garden, rather a plant centre/shop for cacti and succulents. Interesting to pass an hour long at the stage and wonderful shapes and varieties.
Diego Gomez-Llera: Not as big as it seems on the web page, but if you want to buy different types of plants than usual this place has a unique offer of cactus not found anywhere else.

Inma Pixitours Travel Photoshoots: Desert City is a must visit in Madrid if you love plants and succulents. It is a particularly beautiful place to take photos as well!
Andres Velasco Garcia: Besides the quality of the shop which is great I was impressed by the guided free tour of the botanic garden which was 1 hour plus and evidences the passion with which the place is run. It's a good place to bring kids too.

Funtime Mike: Quite big and complete, with regular events such as classes or shows related to the animals or plants in general. They have a big interior zone where all indoor plants and animals except a select few are, making it a nice place to look for things you need. They also have a great selection of fishes which will be the delight of anyone who has an aquarium as they have also a big number of offers and bundles from which to choose. It also has an exterior zone mostly with plants, but also a zone for your pets to have fun and the eventual animals that are not kept inside. Recently they also added a cafeteria which, if you go there before buying anything will certainly satisfy you without the need of having to place your cart in an uncomfortable place, however there is a decent space around each table which will allow you to eat even if you have already a full cart

Marta Huertas: I've been shopping at Planthae for years, I discovered the store when I was in Lavapiés and I keep going now that it's in La Latina/Tirso de Molina. I love the plants they have, but especially the pots, they are beautiful and unique, I have not yet found another store that I like so much. The prices are medium-high, but I think it's worth it because the quality and design are spectacular, and sometimes they have offers that are well worth it.

lukas jurak: Probably the most beautiful train station I have visited so far and I been all over Europe. Jungle in the middle of station is amazing. Unfortunately twice I came there it was "closed" so I couldn't walk under the palms. I was there after 8pm both times so maybe come earlier.

N DM: Cuidate precio!! This place has gone down a lot. On many occasions in the last year or two. We have noticed the price indicated at the placement area and the price charged at counter are different. Today the staff took the price off, when we were at the counter. But we had a picture. They were insisting we were wrong. Counter number 3 and manager. They expected us to look at serial numbers. Isn't this the leroy merlin staff job? Especially when 12 units are stacked against the same price? Absolute incompetence. The manager was insisting we were in the wrong when the price indication and 12 units of the same item was obviously placed by LM staff. Then he blames another customer for changing 'price tickets' Absolute joke. Often the cashiers don't accept the related law. Management teach your staff customer service.. To listen ca argue.
