EL CUCURUCHO DEL MAR: what do users think?

Trong Do: FOOD: We ordered two menus del dia and selected a white wine (excellent) and a rosado wine (just okay), a bean soup with squid, a vegetable soup, hake cooked with potatoes, beef stew, profiteroles, and café con leche. The food was delicious and the service was very warm and attentive. We had eaten here several months ago, and that previous time we ordered seafood a la carte and it was very delicious, which prompted us to come back and try the less expensive menu del dia. We think the menu is solidly good but not as memorable as the a la carte seafood. Cost before tip: 31.60€.

Gary Williams: Aruguably the best seafood paella I have ever had. Highly recommended, and yes it looks exactly like the picture on their advertising sign! One paella pan is a good meal for two adults. Prices will change but less than 70euro for paella+jug of sangria+ one beer.

A.L. Harris: Stopped in here for an early dinner before the theater and was so happy to find this hidden gem. Service was excellent and food was even better. One of the best meals I had in Madrid.

Ashraf Rizk: Quiet place, excellent atmosphere with friendly staff, the food was fantastic, the Barnacles were marvelous it was my first time to eat, the grilled calamari, grilled Scallops and the grilled Octopus were delicious, really I highly recommend it and don’t miss it when you come to Madrid

Natalie Tymoshchuk: Like this place a lot and visiting each time when I’m in Madrid. Cozy restaurant and very tasty food. You should try seafood soup for sure.

Eric Chen: Old seafood. Cheating owner (bread is charged w/o asking & half portion of paella IS NOT half price)Can’t understand why many ppl said the seafood is good. Maybe owner was changed after Covid.

Imke: Amazing service and honestly the best seafood i have eaten in a while. If you’re looking for a cosy place to eat a delicious spaghetti with seafood you need to go to this place.

Umar Umar: The hosts were very attentive to the diners. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly. They got me a table in no time even without a reservation which demonstrated coordination among the staff. The Paella was really good and they made single portions which was very convenient. I recommend it.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 4/5 …More

assaf nitsan: Amazing freshnessWe ate there back to back two nights in a row.FabulousGo eat there NOW

Rachel C: I really enjoyed my meal. Service was decent. Small restaurant with limited seating but the food was good!

Nadav Gal: One of the best restaurants in town!! For the best quality seafood in Madrid, definitely this restaurant!! The seafood is absolutely delicious, very fresh and high quality, made perfectly and very nice portions. The service is professional, very high class restaurant, some might think that prices are a bit high but for that quality it’s definitely worth every cent.

Paul McGuinness: Wide selection of very fresh fish and seafood dishes. Everything is prepared with style and taste and very knowledgeable and attentive service from all the staff. Nice decorations and atmosphere with both a spacious bar area and dining room. Highly recommended for lovers of fish and seafood dishes

Crystal Sneed: The lobster for two prepared American style was superb . The grouper was good as well🙌🏽. Nice restaurant with only men as servers, hosts and in the kitchen.

Paolo Tambunting: Amazing experience! Favorites were the crayfish and gamba roja a la plancha, but everything we had was awesome

Rodrigo Vargas: I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse they recommend only the most expensive dishes. The host was rude from the beginning and their attitude only grew more insufferable as the night dragged on. Come here if you want attitude, overpriced slop, and a generally unwelcoming experience.

Miklós Petrovszki: Brilliant 5* service and the best fish I have had in my life.

Pedro Caballero: El Pescador is an amazing seafood restaurant. We tried the octopus, the calamari, the shrimp and the clams and all were magnificent. Great place to come with a group and share plates. The desserts are simple yet delicious.

Samantha cruz: Always a great place to come for lunch or dinner! The food is delicious and the service is good. I would say I’ve eaten the best fish here. Try the black rice with calamar!

Daniel Garcia: Fresh and unique seafood selections. The most fresh directly from the source. The fish soup is a must.

Malak Awad: The restaurant is great with a nice cozy vibe to it - not too traditional nor too modern. The food is of really good quality. Definitely recommend it!

Jason Lee: Nice seafood selections. A bit pricey but all choices are fresh.

Sally Du: Way overpriced especially given how cheap other food is. When you order they take the plate of seafood and heat it up in a microwave. Prob can find something much better for half the price unless you have no time to visit a real resto. I notice Spanish people were only ordering oysters here. Should have done the same.

Lewis Lau: A bit pricey. But that is too be expected at St Miguel Market because it’s a tourist area. The upside is so many stalls and selections all under the same roof, quite an experience.

just4 Me: I ordered Sea Urchin today, I didn’t look at the price or asked about it. I just ordered it, it came with 4 sea Urchins in the plate. There wasn’t much meat at all, at first I thought this plate was for display only, cuz the shells looked empty to me. I thought the guy would cut fresh new ones for me, like the ones I had in Barcelona, Mercado de La Boqueria. So I was quite shocked to see the plate in display window was served to me. Barely any meat in them. When I got home, I noticed a big charge out of all my expenses in the San Miguel market today, cuz the price stood out, it’s $29.52 Canadian for this quality of seafood, about €20 Euro. Very disappointed and not happy.

林冠宇: You cannot expect more if food are heated simply by microwave.

José Ignacio: The seafood is good, but store decoration is very bad, in kebab style.

Chao-Chung Cheng: delicious

Noelia Neii: It is located in the San Miguel Market. Very good service, fast and friendly. The seafood is of good quality, the portions could be bigger because the prices are quite high. The oysters are the richest they have.

Isabel: Both French and Galician oysters are delicious. We accompanied them with an Albariño that we really liked. The staff treated us very well. Very attentive and professional.

Carlos Alberti: Inside the San Miguel market, his stall offers a wide variety of super fresh shellfish and shellfish seasoned to perfection.

Marisquería Perlora: what do users think?

Vlada Lipovtski: For me it was the best restaurant that i eat in Madrid for nowReally good serviceFresh seafood and fish
Response: Hello Vlada Lipovtski, we appreciate your visit to our Perlora Seafood Restaurant. We are glad to know that you enjoyed our fish and seafood. We hope you will visit us again on your next visit, greetings.

Agathe Guerrier: Quaint little restaurant offering high-quality, fresh seafood, with a lot of Asturian specialties such as oysters, bean stews and desserts. Expect different prices from the local tapas bars! The food was delicious, the service pleasant but a bit slow and erratic.
Response: Hello, thank you very much for coming to visit us and try our typical products of Asturian cuisine. It is a pleasure for us to know that you liked our seafood restaurant so much. We attend your review about our service. regards

Jeff Palachi: Excellent seafood with careful attention to quality evidenced by small details such as their choice of water or the vinegar on the table. The homemade potato chips were delicious as was their coffee. Waiter was top notch (would be equally at home at a Michelin starred restaurant). Ambiance non-existent so bring your own!
Response: Hi Jeff, Thanks for giving us your opinion. It is very important for us to know how has been your experience in Marisquería Perlora. A greeting

Isabel Jimenez: Food, wine and service were good, but certainly overpriced. I wouldn't go back just because of that. The bill was close to 120 EUR and I have been to very lovely and fancy places where I have gotten better value for money. I'd hope they'd see this and adjust their prices, but doubt that they would... old style place.
Response: We have renovated all our premises, giving a different elegant and stylish air of our land Asturias. The prices can sometimes be a little high because we bring the products directly from the origin, to offer you the best quality. Thank you

Haein Jeon: Just don’t go here. The owner pressured me into ordering expensive foods and it were not delicious. As you can see, Gambas were not big and tasty but it was €25. All foods are too pricey. And the worst part was he charged me appetizer bread which I didn’t even asked. Don’t waste your money and time.
Response: Good morning, we never charge for the bread, in fact, we replenish the bread for free without the client asking us to do so. We regret that you will take that feeling of our restaurant when it is the opposite. Thank you very much

Joshua Solomon: Space is really cramped and prices are really high for what they offer. Food is not bad but rather normal quality. Service is also good. We payed 220 euro for lunch for two (110 euros per person) and based on our food experiences, in Madrid you can eat 20 times better and pay a quarter of the price we paid.
Response: Hello Joshua, thank you for choosing our Asturian restaurant to eat this weekend. We are sorry that our prices have seemed exaggerated, but the quality of the product that we offer at Marisquería Perlora deserves it. Our prices are in line with the quality of our dishes and the excellent service of our team. When you want to enjoy quality seafood and traditional Asturian recipes, our doors are open. All the best.

Miguel Santana: What a wonderful authentic place. As an Spaniard leaving in the U.K. this is heaven!
Response: Thanks for visiting us Michael! We are glad to know that you have loved our Asturian restaurant, we hope that when you return you will visit us again. We will wait for you!

Jack: Main course was good, but everything else was a ripoff, stone hard bread for 12 Euro, green tomato for 22 Euro etc etc, will not go again.
Response: Hello Jack, we appreciate your visit to our restaurant. We want to record that everything we offer our customers is high quality food, we are sorry that you had that perception since our bread is from the workshop and with a special baking. On the other hand, the price of our tomatoes is adjusted to its quality, flavor and national origin. Your doors are open if you decide to return to Marisquería Perlora. All the best.

Yannick v: My favorite seafood restaurant anywhere. Any friend of family visiting that I’ve sent there has experienced the same passionate service and quality food. A must go to place for locals and tourists.
Response: Thank you very much for your review Yannick! We are glad to know that our restaurant has customers as loyal as you, we hope to see you very soon at Marisquería Pelora enjoying our northern gastronomy with friends and family. All the best!

Marin “Marcherie” Ferrie: I truly loved this restaurant, the foods, and experience. We were traveling from the US to Madrid, Croatia, and Paris. Total of 11 days on my experience at the restaurant, this restaurant was the best food and experience. I and my husband stopped for late dinner here. We felt very welcomed at this restaurant. There were about 10 customers inside the restaurant at the table, 4 or more at the bar. The waiter was only one person (one other person was inside the bar counter), he was very attentive. He served for all customers in the restaurant, it was amazing how he managed. Efficiency, organized. Foods were great. Clams were fantastic. The razor clams was the waiter recommendation, we were so impressed how great quality, we ordered some more. The wine we got recommended from the waiter was great, it was local wine and never tasted before. We wished we could eat more. We are from the US but I don’t mind to come back to Madrid only for this restaurant. Thank you for your services. We really enjoyed it.
Response: Than you very much Yuki. See you soon

Gastón Legnani: Very good food. Nice place and great service. I don’t know why lots of restaurant do it but I don’t want to have bread offered (only 2 small pieces) and be charged almost 3 euros. It’s not about the money but I’m paying a 50 euros ticket Update: have been there for second time and the service was not great at all.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Diego Lang: One of the greatest place in Madrid, not a tourist trap, great service, great dishes. Price might be high but the quality is worth it. A must on any trip to Madrid.

Mustafa Naveed: Amazing. I recommend the calimari, the vegetables a la plancha.

Lola Sh: Amazing experience. Make sure to book a table as they are usually very busy. This restaurant serves high quality traditional Spanish food and lots of fresh seafood. Regarding the shrimp or gambas, we had them boiled cocidas, but it's better if you order them a la plancha. Much more flavor in those. The artichokes are melt-in-your-mouth level and you should absolutely try them. As for entrees, the angler and shrimp stew has potatoes and a hearty broth. I recommend sharing one stew type of dish and a grilled fish. For wine we chose Txacoli a basque wine.
Response: Thank you very very much. See you soon. Best regards

Vehrer Zsolt: Excellent service, amazing food. There was no one dish i would not recommend. All of them were high quality. A place where i will go again with pleasure.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Katherine Seferliss: It was delicious and the service is 5 star very good restaurant. We order the Bogavante rice and it super good 100% Recomended😉👌
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Pedro Estima: Bar is great. Gyn and Blood Mary are good. Don't know why but they don't have a drinks menu.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

PABLO DANIEL CEZON MARTINEZ: Quite a nice old fashioned tabern with amazing seafood, and highly train attention!
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Rosa Llorens: Excellent! Octopus was perfectly cooked and the seasoning did not overpowered. Great seafood and service

Arturo Cabrera M: An excellent place for sea food in center Madrid. Food, service and facility just excellent. Not cheap but worth it

Bonnie Mo: We went there upon recommendation. It's a bit outside the city centre. Therefore the place quickly went from fully occupied to 90% gone by 23:30 which is very early for Madrid. The clientele are business diners mostly. Food wise the fish was fresh and tasty, but it didn't come with anything on the side. No vegetables, no garnish, nothing. The prawns in the seafood salad didn't have the best texture. They were on the soft and loose side, not firm enough to be the freshest. They put a plate of smoked salmon on the table as a forced consumption. There are plenty of great restaurants in Madrid. No need to return

Alexander Schellong: A local partner from Madrid recommended the place for having outstanding seafood and it was indeed great but certainly cheap. We paid 240 Euros for 2 people and various dishes included their famous main dish and dessert. In the end the seafood is prepared relatively simple but you can taste nuances. The design is almost Japanese with dimmed light and upscale service.

Ved Pandit: It is a very nice and high end Spanish Sea Food Restaurant. The ambience is excellent, very personalised service and the Sea Food is quite fresh 😋🦐🐟🐙🍤🥂🍽

Iulia Prioteasa: Where to start?! An amazing experience from start to finish. Extremely good service, atmosphere, great food, fresh fish and seafood. Definately a place that deserves all the great reviews i have seen. A must try for the unforgetable experience!

Elliott Fisher: Incredible seafood restaurant. I’m pretty sure we were the only non-Spanish customers that night, but had no problems with our inability to speak the language. Most of the main course seafood items are offered by weight, which was a little confusing. But the staff helped us figure out the right amount of items. Incredible!!

Samuel Gustafsson: Great seafood experience, including some nice non-seafood too. Many classic dishes and some rare ones on the menu, such as a shrimp dish from south Spain. Nice and fresh interior, combined with a good staff, makes it worth the visit.

Suzannah Longval: Unparalleled product, specifically the percebes, gamba roja, and carabinero. We come here whenever we really want to treat ourselves to the best seafood. The only thing lacking is the service - the wait staff could be friendlier and clearer when asked about product weight and pricing.

Olesya Kulikova: High class restaurant at reasonable prices. All fish was great! Highly recommend. Fully booked, so come early or try booking

Philip Maurer: A wonderful seafood restaurant. The staff were knowledgeable, the food was delicious. The ambiance and decor were luxurious and yet understated. The carabineros were first class. I watched dishes being prepared around me with some mixture of interest and jealousy. Worth returning to.

Michael Kennedy: Appetizer was great. The main course of Sol, which is supposed to be the specialty, was undercooked and lacking in flavor. The molten lava cake desert was not prepared well. Table service was rushing us all night and one of the waiters spilled an entire glass of wine on my wife. Not impressed at all.

El Barril de las Cortes: what do users think?

D L: We enjoyed the meal here. Out of everything the best is their paella - the rice itself. Rich , flavourful and perfectly cooked. We ordered the “special paella” which is the house special. It has all kind of seafood you can imagine with the exception of lobster. The seafood was fresh But if found that they are off by a bit. For example the cLaim was barely cooked (but given the freshness it was fine) however two shrimps was rather mushy. The service was mixed. Nothing major but some are more attentive than the other which you’d expect better in a nice restaurant like this. I still give it a five star given the unforgettable food here. Oh yes and save room for desert. They are fresh made and was very good. We opted for the lava chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream.
Response: Thank you very very much. See you soon. Best regards

Alexander Inacio: Excellent seafood and a great wine list. Their sherries are really good value. Service was a bit mishap one time but generally good. Well heeled crowd in the back of the restaurant with a less formal space at the front..not cheap but certainly worthwhile.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Amanda Smith: Excellent food & great service! Definitely a thumbs up. It was more expensive then most places, but the food and ambience was worth it. We ordered the wild clams and ribeye, and every bite was perfect. We ordered bread to dip in the clam sauce and actually dipped the steak in it too, since it was so buttery and amazing. The menu said the clams were spicy, but they weren’t, I would’ve loved some heat but it was still worth it. I’d order everything we ordered again!
Response: Thank you very very much. See you soon. Best regards

heather mou: Lunch was so good we went back the next day for dinner! Tuna tartare was the best we had on our trip, the paella was delicious and the wine was spot on! We’ll definitely return on our next trip to Madrid!

Jarek Nuszczynski: Nothing to complain :) paella, grilled squids, fried squids - all fresh and d…n good. Only thing would note is the way fried squids are delivered but that’s just integrity, visual issue not taste.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Stephanie McKenna: Save yourself the heartbreak folks, this place is not worth the price, the wait, or anything but it’s pitcher of sangria… We ordered scallops, razor clams, and paella after having eaten amazing seafood in 2 other places in Madrid and could not have been more disappointed. We ordered the Paella which has a minimum order of 2 portions (35 Euros per person, so 70 for both my husband and I) and again, it was disappointing - while it looked good in terms of aesthetics it left a lot to be desired for considering we could have gotten better seafood for less at another place. The rice was crunchy and undercooked, it lacked any flavor while somehow having over cooked shrimp and scallops, and was the most disappointing meal of my life. The only thing that I can say was even worth it is the 23 Euro pitcher of house sangria… They charge you for bread and mineral water which I guess is countered by a free appetizer (ours was a soup that was decent, and a small bite sized piece of chocolate cake which was also decent - but neither is anything to write home about) Service was mediocre as well, which I can only attribute to the assumption that we were American - even though I am a native Spanish speaker, our party spoke in English at the table. The tables next to us that spoke in Spanish had plates cleared faster, drinks refilled, and more attentiveness. I thought I was being sensitive but after reading various other reviews it seems to be a pattern of service at this establishment. For the 141 Euros we spent, I expected more.

Caroline Lim: Had a mixture of croquettes, grilled shrimp in chilli garlic oil, and a squid paella. Everything was amazing, even the free starter raisin bread bun! Would love to come back to try more dishes if I ever have the chance!
Response: Thank you very very much. See you soon. Best regards

Deborah Ward: Amazing food, excellent service, great atmosphere… we would give it 10 stars if we could!! Highly recommend this restaurant!
Response: Thank you very very much. See you soon. Best regards

Joyce Harout: My husband and I visited El Barril de Las Cortes last night and the food was amazing. Best food we've had in Madrid so far. More than the food though, the service was top notch. Super hospitable, respectful and professional. Loved the experience!
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Maria del Pilar Singleton: This is a great restaurant. Fantastic service, delicious foods and a great vibe. Tons of good restaurants in Madrid. This one needs to make each of your lists. Disfruten.

La Sirena Verde | Restaurante de Cocina Mediterránea y Mariscos: what do users think?

Aggie Wang: The restaurant is central located, near the bus/metro station and shopping area. The service was excellent. The young men who served our table was very attentive and friendly. The food was tasty at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!
Response: Many thanks for share your experience in La Sirena Verde restaurant. Hope to see you soon. Regards.

SPICY: Located in the middle of shopping street. Place is big so may not need reservation on weekdays. Many choices of seafood items with pictures. Price was not bad depends on what you eat. We getting a la carte and came out great value. Oysters was tasty, mussels was good potion and fresh, shrimp was well seasoning, octopus was tender and flat top grilled seabass was the best. Service fast and intuitive.
Response: Many thanks for share your experiencie in La Sirena Verde. Hope to see you soon. Regards.

Jeslyn Low: Do not go to this place. They informed us 24 euroes per kilo but when we got the bill it turned out to be 240 euroes per kilo for the prawns.. which was ridiculous, and the prawns were not even fresh! If they had informed us of the correct pricing in the first place we would not have ordered it. EXTREMELY unethical pricing. The boss started shouting at us after we tried to clarify the prices. They were probably overcharging us as we were tourists. How could it cost 250 euroes for 6 prawns? Yet 80 euroes for a big platter. They even called the police on us for “disruption” even thought we paid the bill.
Response: Hi Jelly, From the restaurant we inform you that all the prices are correct, as much as attached in the photos of the menu. All the prices are visible, both for the seafood barbecue for 2 people, and for all the seafood that they asked for, the price is per kilo, or the price is set by the market. Seafood is a luxury item, and in case you didn't know, in certain types of restaurants, with a certain level, this product is a luxury, and you ordered all the seafood that you considered appropriate. At no time was he yelled at, simply, simply that at the time you did not want to pay the bill, the police had to appear, so that they would pay your bill. Please, before consuming in any restaurant, find out about the product you are ordering. All the best.

Jennifer: One grilled lobster 155 euros, and Angulas( a kind of tiny small fish) , they charged us 145 euros. The price is Not listed on the menu. We are just came from Barcelona, we had three days seafood lunch and dinner over there, price are so fair and food was so delicious in Barcelona. This is our first dinner in Madrid, we are so surprised they charged so high for one lobster and the most tiny fish!
Response: We are sorry that the prices are not to your liking, but going to a seafood restaurant to order lobster and eels, since seafood is a luxury product, prices vary. In the letter it is not that the price does not come, the price of the shellfish is based on the price at which it is at the market at that moment. All the best.

Tudor M: Very good fish restaurant, service is old school not speaking english, so be prepared with some Spanish but the food ist amazing. Everything we tried was good! Recommend it 💯
Response: Many thanks for share your experience in La Sirena Verde restaurant. Hope to see you soon. Regards.

m lawlor: Amazing food and service. A definite must if you're a seafood aficionado.
Response: Many thanks for share your experience en La Sirena Verde restaurant! Hope to see you soon. Regards.

Leopard: Good restaurant to try Paella the local traditional meal in Spain (mainly rice with seafood 🐟🐙)

Elly Ellepellies: Very expensive. We ordered one portion gamba a la plancha and paid eur 30 for that! Unbelievable! The paella with seafood was 48 euro and was okay.
Response: We are sorry that it seems expensive, but the prices are all on the menu, and you are ordering luxury products such as seafood. a greeting.

Mohamed from Dubai: Fresh seafood Old staff so don’t expect more lol 😂 Price quite high
Response: Thank you for visiting La Sirena Verde. We are sorry that you consider that the prices are high, seafood is a luxury product and has a cost. Receive a greeting.

Roger Boxall: Breakfast advertised at the shop front was way overcharged, chocolate for Churros charged 2.5 when shown as 0.5.The waiter was almost abusive when i pointed out the offer on the shop front. Not big money but still not right.
Response: We are sorry that the poster has misled you. One thing is a chocolate supplement (meaning more chocolate) and another thing is apart from the breakfast offer, another cup of chocolate...

Alvaro Soto de Scals: Amazing, unexpected restaurant which offers us top quality fish, extraordinary crabs, fresh green peppers, octopus and delicious desserts. The place is very small and rhe decoration too traditional, but every dessert was outrageous.

José Manuel Colina: Excellent quality, good price... and service was even better.Poasibly the best Galician restaurant in town

Rafael Gg: best fish and dishes from Galicia, Spain's best fish harbour

nima mirzaei: very good\

We went for dinner with a group of friends on the recommendation of one of them, a very good quality product. Special mention to the clams, the spider crab and the lamb chops... shrimp and barnacles seemed scarce to me and at a price, in my opinion, well above the market. We went out at €90 per beard… we didn't skimp on wine, but even so it seemed a bit excessive to me, although the reality is that we ate very well.

Sin duda repetiré High-altitude seafood restaurant in Madrid, one of the best oysters I've ever eaten, the spider crab freshly brought from the estuaries and very well prepared turbot and Galician-style hake, the atmosphere of a port tavern transports you to Galicia for a moment. Without a doubt I will repeat

Lázaro Fernández: Excelente calidad de los productos. Muy ricos todos los platos Excellent quality of the products. Very rich all the dishes

Don't be fooled by how remote and how small the establishment is. It is a true gem as far as gastronomy is concerned. Classic Galician seafood restaurant where the protagonist and what prevails is the product. It is worth highlighting the spider crab. In addition to having a good product, they respect it in the kitchen. Exquisite. The right decision to pair with the house Albariño (Martín Códax). Highly recommended.

Jorge Asecas: Local de cocina gallega en el cual se come muy bien y la calidad es de primera. Recomiendo mariscos y carnes. Los postres son muy buenos también. Galician cuisine place where you can eat very well and the quality is top notch. I recommend seafood and meat. The desserts are very good too.

Excellent seafood restaurant in Madrid, good quality seafood, good service, and the right price. Do not pretend to have dinner for 40 euros with seafood and wine (although it is also possible) since, logically, the price of seafood is expensive. If you avoid seafood, the previous one is normal. But the quality is superior.

SPICY: Deliciosa!!Lovely fresh seafood and fresh preparation make everything even more delicious. We love grilled red shrimp and mussels.

Abel Agullo: Genuine traditional and local bar/restaurant for sea food. It’s one of those “forever running family business”. You get a beer, wine or drink and you get a small tapa for free. They have a good selection of see food including incredibly tasting shrimps, clams, oysters, and many more. The price is really cheap for the top quality food they offer. Is usually very packed and there is no place to sit. It’s more the kind of place to have an snack before lunch then you go to the next bar (very Spanish way of trying several bars and eat here and there). The first pic Gamba plancha & beers was 14,50€.

Lujza Árvai: It's az small bufet basically. You can choose from a wide variety of sea food which you can enjoy at standing tables with some beer.

Eric Morley: Amazing mussels. The oysters and clams were great too, but the mussels stole the show. Nice atmosphere, friendly and quick service. This place is great if you want delicious seafood either plain or with simple sauces like vinegar or lemon juice.

Tara G: Incredible fresh seafood, the gambas (get 10 — they’re addictive) are unbelievable, and the staff are efficient but kind and helpful. Highly recommended.

Tara Sousa Nitsch: Great food and service! Worth a visit. Didn’t give 5 stars because he floor at the end of the day, we were here about the closing time and the flor was dirty.... not nice . But food is very fresh! Don’t hesitate to come!

Ekaterina Kosyachkova: Fantastic, fresh local food. Vermouth on tap. Highly recommend!

Juan Pablo Baene: Probably one of the best tapas bars in Madrid. Sea food is their specialty. Don't get to afraid the place sometimes is super crowded it is worth it!

Alyona Chayka: Super crowded place but super good

Eva Marcé: The best ostras and gambas a la plancha I've ever try. Totally recommended if you don't mind the bullfighting posters on the wall

S Ro: Decent experience, the seafood platter came in big portion and they were mostly pretty fresh. We feel the crabs could have been a bit fresher so we could taste the sweetness more and easier for the meat to come off. The shrimps did not taste as sweet as we would expect from a place that sells mainly seafood. The seafood variety in the platter is limited; mainly crab and two types of shrimps. So if you come with a lot of people and order a bunch of other dishes would be better than just 2.

Lauryna Siaudinyte: Very nice place. Reasonable prices. Great service. Credit cards are accepted. Fresh sea food. Great quality. Really enjoyed my time here.

Jack Holzer: The seafood is really fresh here !! Not much seasoning but you can taste the original sweetness from the seafood !! The plate for 2 actually for 3-4 ppl is totally enough !! Really huge portion !! The only thing maybe a bit annoyed is if you don’t like to open all the seafood , you might feel finger tired in the end !! Service and surrounding is like a very normal restaurant! And also a bit loud here , if you wanna have nice ambient or quietness surroundings, then it’s not a place for you !!

Lee-Anne Curtis-Cox: What an unassuming restaurant from the outside! But as you enter past the 1st section where drinks are served, you come across 4 or 5 dining rooms. This restaurant can probably seat 150 pax, but either arrive early, or book, as it fills up quite quickly and is clearly popular with tourists and locals alike. The seafood is incredible! Little to no seasoning, fresh as if it were taken straight from the ocean. Prices are very reasonable, and the seafood platter for 2 can easily feed 3 or 4 people. Service was fast and efficient. We particularly enjoyed the seafood platter as we sat for about an hour chatting while de-shelling the crabs and prawns. Pulpo a la gallega was the best that we had in Madrid!

Christoph Goldstein: Absolutely the best Fishrestaurant in Madrid! Very tasteful Bercebas, Gambas, Merluza and seafood. Very good desserts, too. Very nice and friendly service. Absolutely worth a visit!

Valeri Bak: Amazing place, lovely atmosphere, like in abuelas house. Be aware of huge plates, but worth every penny!

Krystine Altamirano: So delicious. I had the Merluza Ribeira. Great service. They open at 8pm for dinner.Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Juergen Thomas: I‘ve been here the third time and always had the Mariscada for two. Always perfect quality, fresh presentation and absolutely sufficient for two! If you like crustacean this is a must eat place in Madrid! Reasonable prices and good service, too. Also nice atmosphere, just feel well and welcome.

Giulia Bottoni: We had a reservation for dinner, which I definitely recommend to do. We went for the octopus and some cod with a side dish of roasted peppers. The octopus and the paprica I would definitely recommend! The cod was tasty and very soft but unfortunately the sauce was a little bland, so if I would go back, I would not order it again. If you do not manage to eat it all, they do to-go bags for the lestovers and charge 1€ for the packaging.

Georges Elias: A good restaurant with a wide variety of platters that can be shared , very good quality , and the prices are reasonable..the staff are really nice , they serve dishes other than fish .. we really enjoyed our dinner , they are famous for there shared big seafood platter and it seems it is his number one This place is highly recommended Go hungry because the portions are huge

Ali A: The food was great. I applaud the chef for her/his skills. The preparation was perfect. Probably the best paella I ever had! That was the good part. The poor part: The service was quite bad, e.g. drinks were not constantly refilled. The waiter that takes the order suddenly left and no one else spoke English in the restaurant. Unfortunately, we had the wrong dessert ordered due the language issue. At certain point, the staff were cleaning the tables near us and they were too loud, we could hear the plates crashing each others and we could feel the anger and sadness on the staffs' faces! I don't expect that from an upscale restaurant!! After the main course and before the dessert, the waiter did not clean the table, see the bread crumbs in the dessert photo. That is a standard at process, which was not performed. In the end, the chef deserves 5 stars for the food, but restaurant deserves 0 stars for the rest.

JW: Came here for dinner on our first night at Madrid. + The service was great. Friendly staff + Seafood was fresh. We ordered prawns and squids + Portion was pretty big and the waiter told us not to over order, which is a nice gesture + The environment was fairly formal with white table cloth but most people dressed quite casually
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Jolene Lau: Randomly walk in to for a drink, and order more drink, then we order padron peppers and apple pie all so delicious!! We had dinner earlier before came to this place otherwise we will order seafood / main dish, all look yummy when seeing the plates out of kitchen to dining table. Service super great, they are not fluent in English but they all helpful, professional and funny!
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Mustafa Diken: Great dining experience! Staff were very kind and helpful in explaining the menu. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

sashkow s: We came about 12.35 and the staff told us that it is closed although 12.30 is opening time on the door. That was the only negative I could point out.The fish is extremely fresh and well prepared. Recommended.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Firas Saleh: Favorite meal in Madrid. Started with octopus with potatoes. Had the sea bass afterwards. Both phenomenal. Many thanks to Omar for his help
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

James Qi: Great food. Duck confit was amazing. Squid was also great with the burnt garlic olive oil.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Gia Hua: Good not great. Paella was good. Kinda expensive. Two outdoor tables available.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Noam G.: Very fancy restaurant. High-end professional service. Good served food in very fancy presentation and every bite was incredibly tasty.Recommendation: come hungry because there is much to try and to enjoy. The white wine that was recommended to us by the waiter was a success. 😋😊
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Ana Lapera: The food was delicious and service was good! However, we noticed that the locals got all the tables by the windows and the attention of the manager, while visitors got the tables against the wall.
Response: Thank you very much. See you soon. Best regards

Ding Ian Toh: Fantastically fresh seafood, prepared simply. Prices are very reasonable. Come in a group to taste everything! Practically a standing space only bar, which fills up almost immediately after opening. Come early!

Xavier Quesada Allué: Wonderful little family owned "barrio" bar, serving fresh, high quality seafood at rock bottom prices in a matching ambiance. Ana and Alberto have run this restaurant under the radar for many many years. Come here if you want to experience the amazing price/quality food Spain is famous for, if you like simple things from an era before the internet existed. A spot in Madrid where you can eat great seafood in a traditional Spanish bar environment.

Sergio González: Tiny place full of people, reasonable prices and yummy dishes. Just seafood.

John Martensson: Place is quite small, so you should arrive early if you want to have a seat. I discovered this place through some friends, and believe, it was a huge surprise. Fresh fish, everything cooked at the moment. Prices are very competitive, being difficult to find something with the same quality/price. About the service, you should be patient as it is always crowded!! It is worth to visit it!

Captainpsych: A jewel. Brilliant seafood, intimate, great owners and old fashioned vibe

Iva Meštrović: Excellent sea food! Cool place!

Stéphane Brion: Extra ! Spain like I love it !

Arturo J. Martinez: Place to taste the best seafood in the neighborhood, at an affordable price and with a deal of 10, that is, if you go with a group of friends that are 15, because they are the ones that fit maximum in the place and you enjoy it alone, the width is for two people, don't miss the smoked sardine toast, the giant scallops, the octopus or the empanada, bigaros as an appetizer. Spectacular. We will be back shortly.

E. R.: The best place to taste seafood in the Guindalera neighborhood, with one of the best octopuses I've ever tasted. Small and cozy place but packed at rush hour. Delicious Galician empanadas and vice sardine loins.

Ernesto Jesus Zanoletty Martinez: Small place, very small, but that is its charm because inside you will only find great experiences, with very simple but spectacular food. I do not get involved, there are the tests. Attention of 10 and unbeatable prices within the M30.

Pablo Perillan: Terrific service. Brought our hungry (sometimes poorly behaved) kids and the wait staff was patient and friendly. The head waiter prepared my daughter's flounder dish before her, and managed to engage her enough to have her eat the delicious dish. The mariscos were good, the calamarcitos exceptional and the chocolate cake desert combined with the leche merengada ice cream was sublime.

Shingi Cee: Excellent place for seafood!!! Great staff!! Highly recommend!
Response: Thank's 👏👏👏

Jose Luis Lueje: Good quality, attentive service. All fish & shell fish we tried, was fresh, and cooked to perfection !.
Response: Thanks 👌

周志遠: Seafood has good quality. Staff is also friendly. Price is reasonable.

Jaime Casanova: Great seafood!! And curbside pickup is an option. Happy about that!
Response: Thank you very much....👌

Antonio Vázquez: Very traditional restaurant with excellent service and product quality. A bit too traditional for me though....

Claudio Boino: This is your proper restaurant, old school, good food, good feeling. Enhorabuena.

Eloise Mercier: Very good food. Friendly staff.
Response: Thanks😜

mikio pardo: Fresh seafood. God prices. Excellent local atmosphire!

Beatriz Perales Chavernas: Fesh seafood for a reasonable price and very friendly staff.

Anisa White: Grate foodAmazing stuffAlways hight quality of seafoodSuper tasty hake I tried (Galician style)
Response: Thank you very much Anise. A big hug. See you soon.

Noura AL-Khaldi: Great place and staff. Average food. The one thing that really surprised us is that they made us pay for the plates and lemons! This NEVER happened in my life..
Response: We do not understand what to pay the plates and lemons. Maybe it's because of the translation. I would be grateful if you could clarify it for us more. Thank you

Dylan: Worst service in all of Madrid, the only moment we got a smile from the server was when we payed. On top of that the portions are tiny, expect to leave the restaurant hungry if you aren’t spending a fortune. There are definitely much better sea food restaurants in Madrid.
Response: We are sorry that you did not like the service

Juan Martin Maglione: We visited “La Trainera” (2 people). We were received by the manager (polite and efficient). We had a very good chat with the guy in charge of the fresh seafood, amazing guy! Food: 5. The quality is simply amazing. Not just fresh, but the preparation is simple yet with a lot of natural flavour. Service: 4. The waiters have a lot of experience and they will help you order, as they know that ordering here is not simple if you have no knowledge about seafood. Place: 4. Clean, not noisy and well lighted. Below some photographs of what we ordered: Pulpo a la gallega. Gambas. Merluza.
Response: Thank you for coming. I hope see you again..

Pedro Caballero: La Trainera is a classic seafood restaurant in Madrid. Their different dishes are delicious and we recommend you order a few main plates to share. Between fish, crab and octopus there is no way to go wrong. Additional to that, the desserts offered in the restaurant are pretty good, and its always wonderful to end dinner on a sweet note.

Victor C: Excellent meal, The Prawns were awesome! One of the best coffees we've ever had. So good in fact we had 3 cups.

Rosa Rodriguez: If you wish for the very best fresh seafood in Madrid, then visit La Trainera. Always packed with visitors. Crab Buey de Mar is spectacular!

Zoe Vergnet: Amazing fish and seafood, no doubts there. But the service was pretty awful. I went there with my parents today as they were visiting me in Madrid, the server knocked over my mum's wine glass all over the table, her phone and clothes were pretty soaked. This can happen anywhere and really isn't an issue, but what's no right is that he never apologized for it... He gave us a few napkins and left without saying a word. As her glass was now empty, we were expecting him to come back and refill it, it didn't happen. We had to ask for a top up and we were charged for both the glass that was spilled by the waiter and the top up... We complained and that the second glass was removed from the bill, but the fact that we had to ask for it really doesn't sit well. It is a shame because the food was lovely, but at this price point I don't think you can get away with such poor service.
Response: Thank you very much for the comment. Apologize in advance for the incident and for the service failure. Do not doubt that we will do everything possible so that it does not happen again. Thank you.

Dick Buschman: Perfect ambiance, balanced between properly served and relaxt atmosphere. Food is really good, guests are from all ages and staff is tradiotionally crafted but young at heart.

007Decky: Spanish seafood cuisine at its fineness but quite pricey!
