Pedro Vila: Because the five people who bought and I introduced them to this store have told me and they have stopped being customers like me, being the first customer I went to when they opened the store, they have lost those customers, like me, because of miserably treating the charge 0.50 cents to check the pH of the fish tank despite all the purchases that were made and that you rarely asked to be checked. Miserably, it seemed to me that they would charge you, and it was not because of the price, and they answered me “that it was because some clients abused it. THIS IS CALLED LOSING FOUR CUSTOMERS BY 0.50 cents.

Shipping from Madrid to Barcelona takes at the most 48 hours. Orders are always packaged well. They offer free shipping as well within Spain depending on the order value.

Luca Argenti: I went to Aqualoto for the competitiveness of their prices, and at the beginning I received a positive impression: the decorations (roots, rocks), water-conditioners, fish food etc were quite less expensive than in the shops of the city centre. However, I had subsequently radically changed my opinion on the basis of a series of bad experiences in a short period of time (less than four months): 1/ many of the aquatic plants I bought there were in fact originally grown out of the water, which affected their health in the tank. In particular, a group of Alternanthera Reineckii lost most of the leaves and never really started growing. After one month and a half of deterioration (while the rest of the plants were thriving) I removed it. 2/ a group of led lights broke down only after 2-3 weeks, so I asked for a replacement. They refused to replace the item on the spot. Instead, I would have had to wait at least one week for the representative of the lamp company to fetch the faulty item and fix or replace it. In the end, I had to wait several weeks before being able to get a working light back. This was particularly annoying because the plants suffered and because each visit to the shop means to lose a couple of hours in the metro and more than 3 euros of tickets. 3/ I bought there 22 cardinals (hyphessobrycon cardinalis), which were on offer, and added them to my 100 l tank which at that time had been hosting, for more than two weeks, 13 other perfectly healthy cardinals. After a couple of days, all the new fishes (which could be recognised from the smaller size) were covered with white dots. In three days, most of them were dead and infected my original hosts. In less than a week, all (!) the fishes in the tank were dead. I emphasise that I put all the possible care in the fish transport, avoiding any significant temperature excursion by using efficient isolating material in abundance, and taking more than one hour to let the fish get used to the new tank water composition and temperature in a gradual way. To conclude, shopping at Aqualoto costed me A LOT (really: A LOT!) more time and money than if I always sticked to more professional and expensive shops downtown. Three bad experiences in three months is more than just bad luck; I exclude I will ever return.
Julio MM: What we value the most is the professional quality of your care and advice. We have been clients for years and from the first moment they helped us start up our aquarium. Rodrigo, who I think is the name of the young man who serves us, is charming attentive helpful and with an amazing amount of knowledge. We really like the prices and the state of the fish and plants. undoubtedly a reference site in Madrid for aquarium lovers.

Jorge Molina: I have always had this store as a reference in Madrid along with another, the surprise I get when looking for a product on its website, I get a price of €10.99 and when I bought it in the store they charge me €16.95 for one difference of €6 and his answer is that the store in Alcorcón and online has nothing to do with the one in Madrid. That is not specified at any time on the page nor do they tell you when buying in the store. I personally approached the store in Madrid for not buying online. I like to promote local businesses, but this is already a hoax.

Ivan Blagoff: I am not going to assess the service because I have not bought or even entered. I write because of the disappointment I felt when I arrived from the outskirts to buy things that I needed for the dogs. After researching on the net the few pet stores that are open during confinement, I chose this one. Francisco Javier Sanchez: Simply the best fishmonger in Madrid. Ultra fresh, quality product. I have ordered at home and it comes spectacularly packed, in a special box, everything well sealed, with protectors, special ice packs, the documentation set aside and sealed... out of 10. On top of that there is always a little more quantity than what you ask for. We have ordered among many things red shrimp and octopus, both cooked, and there have been 300 grams more in each package.

I know their products from the fish market and from going to the filandon. I made my purchase as before, and I was disappointed. They sold me bad prawns.
