Madrid Active School: what do users think?

Patricia K: We were looking for a bilingual school based on the concept of non-directive education for our 6 year old daughter. We visited some projects in Madrid and when we found out about MAS, it was love at first sight. The environment and the staff are very well prepared and the accompaniment respects the various individual processes. The children are happy and have joy in the learning process. The school encourages the participation of the families, who feel respected and listened to. We couldn't be more satisfied and grateful to all the fantastic work and dedication of the professionals who make MAS the wonderful place it is. I wish that all children could have the opportunity to experience education in this way. Thank you MAS!
Response: Thanks a lot Patricia, it is always amazing to witness how a child dives into a whole new culture. It has been a privilege to accompany your family through this transition that went as smooth as possible since we all share the same values <3

Elena Garcia: After 3 years at MAS we are delighted. We have met other active schools and without a doubt this is the best. The respectful accompaniment and attentive observation of the companions creates a wonderful environment where children are happy and maintain healthy social relationships. Individual learning adapted to the rhythm of each child makes them learn naturally and only when they are ready do they enjoy learning. The best active school in Madrid, without a doubt!
Response: This is the most important thing for us: accompaniment and observation so that the children can get to know each other and take their place in the world. Thank you!

DOS LATIDOS - International Active School: Talking about Mas is talking about innovation, from a pioneer project in Madrid, formed by courageous and committed to education, open to new ideas and with the ability to take advantage of the best of each of them. As a professional of education, I show my admiration and respect for the work done by this school. Marigú López- Director of two beats International School - La Cabrera (Madrid)
Response: Thank you very much Marigu! What luck that ours can share a vision and join forces to open the way. Laetitia, co-founder of MAS

Escuela Internacional Montessori Ronda y Serranía: We have been fortunate to work creating synergies, Madrid Active School is more than a school, a group of professionals who love and respect children and offer quality education. A wonderful school, you can see the love they put into the project.
Response: By weaving ties with schools that are more than schools, we create a network that is more than a network: a loving and committed support group...

Carmen Cebrian: Great professionals and great people who work in this school. I am delighted with the emotional accompaniment that they give to my child as a child, and the values of respect and solidarity so present in their day-to-day lives. The choice of this alternative school has been a success.
Response: Great families that make up our community to learn and grow together, thank you :)

María De A.: Wonderful place surrounded by people who understand and lovingly accompany the growth of our daughters. Another education is possible and in the MORE it becomes a reality. Thank you so much for existing!!
Response: Thank you very much Maria for believing in it, for showing it day after day and for saying it out loud! Laetitia

Gema Gomez: Wonderful school, I was lucky to meet part of its management team and I have been able to verify the professionalism and love that they put into the project. The change in the educational paradigm is already here.
Response: Thank you so much, Gemma! It is the wonderful thing about encounters that are not coincidences :) Laetitia

Steps into Spain - Helping Families To Find The Right School for Their Child in Madrid: what do users think?

Christina Marouda: Our experience with Steps into Spain, and in particular Sinead whom we worked with, was excellent! We truly could not have asked for a better partner to finding the right school for our kids. Our family needs were quite specific and challenging, and Sinead helped us not only navigate the Spanish educational system but was there as an advisor, a sounding board, and a friend who truly cared. Her instincts and the ability to understand our needs and steer us to the right direction was invaluable. We would absolutely recommend Steps into Spain to any families looking to move to Madrid.
Response: Thank you so much Christina and Nick!

Remus Gabriel Dumitrescu: We moved to Madrid with just 2 weeks before school start. We had been in contact with Sinead about 2 months in advance as we realized we needed someone with strong local knowledge of schools, neighbourhoods and both English and Spanish. Her advices helped us focus on the school that we wanted for our child and helped us cut out a number of options. In the countdown days before school start, Sinead was our connection with the school administration, then she was there in person at each step during school registration: initial contacts, paper work and even buying the school uniforms. The result was our child got in the school we wanted from school day 1 and is doing better and better. Looking back, Sinead was of great support through her objectivity and professionalism.
Response: Thanks so much Remus! I loved helping you and your family. Un abrazo

Kate Jones: Sinead helped me place my daughter in a fantastic school with little to no time before school holidays - about one month before school was to resume in September. Given how last minute it was and our constraints being non-Spanish speakers without residence, meant it was a huge ask. Sinead gave us the reassurance that we could settle in a school perfectly suited for us and allow us to enjoy our experience here in Madrid. Sinead covered all the contact, liaising and initial admin of the school placement. Let me stress that Sinead was able to place us in a fantastic school given we had little to no Spanish, arrived in Spain in August and needed a school who would not only have a last minute place but would accept an enrolment of only three months! Working with Sinead and Steps into Spain was a life saver and I would suggest anybody who is in a similar situation, relocating to Madrid or Spain to get in touch.
Response: Thanks very much Kate! I hope that you and Willow really enjoy your time in Madrid, short but intense. Un abrazo

Stefano Lehmann: We really want to recommend Steps into Spain to anyone who is looking for the most stress-free experience in finding schools for their kids when relocating to Spain. My wife and I were very nervous about having to find a primary school for our daughter. Steps into Spain did everything for us: from finding the best options based on our needs, giving the right advice, to accompany us to enroll. Relocating abroad is always stressful, but Steps into Spain made this very critical task the smoothest one.
Response: Thank you Stefano! It was a pleasure helping you and Giorgia find the right school for Raquele. Un abrazo

Dalia Ghanem: My family and I moved to Madrid this year and since our kids go to Spanish immersion schools in the US, we wanted to enroll them in local schools in order to deepen their Spanish. However, the application system for a family arriving in August prior to the academic year seemed daunting. Fortunately, my husband came across Sinead’s website, and right after the first meeting with her, we could tell how incredibly knowledgeable she was about the schools, both public and private, as well as the public school application system. Before arriving in Madrid, we met with her several times to discuss different school options, neighborhoods, and eventually narrowed down our list to the four schools we would submit to the local education office. Fast forward, six months later, our boys are both enrolled in two great schools in the neighborhood we were hoping for. But this was no easy task. For our third grader, Sinead contacted multiple schools and was able to find a spot in one of our top choice schools. So we were able to avoid going to the local education office in September. However, for our seventh grader, things were more complicated. None of the schools we wanted in our neighborhood had spots, our top choice school said they might, but would not confirm. So we had to go to the local education office. Sinead and I waited for 5.5 hours, and were able to find a spot in a good school through the education office. A few days later, our top choice school confirmed that they had a spot. So after all, our seventh grader could choose which school he wanted to go to. I can keep going on and on about how grateful we are to Sinead’s help. Without her, we would have wasted so much time, energy and money, and worst of all we would not have ended up with the great schools our kids are in. Moving to a new country is exciting but also very stressful. It was great to know that we had an expert helping us with one of the most important aspects of the move.
Response: Thanks so much Dalia! I hope that you, Sean and the boys have a wonderful year in Madrid! Un abrazo

Joshua Evans: We are an Australian family and two weeks after our arrival in Spain our boys (as of yesterday) have entered the Spanish school system! Sinead from Steps into Spain was super professional and proficient, and whilst she couldn't guarantee that a late enrolment application would result in our children starting on the first day of school, she reassured us about the alternatives such as a slightly delayed enrolment. Sinead’s confidence the children would enter school with little or no delay was vindicated and we have “first day” photos! We are aware the Sinead made inroads by working outside of the normal procedures which relied on the intimate knowledge of the local systems. Based on our first impressions the school is perfect and will support our children to flourish and grow. We couldn't be happier with Sinead's service and support!
Response: Thank you Josh! It has been great working with you and you family. 😀

Mita Sadhwani Sadhwani: If I could give 10 stars, I would. I highly recommend Sinead to any family moving to Spain and looking for support and guidance with schooling process, she truly cares for her clients and will go the extra mile. Sinead helped me find a school for my children, one of the with special needs in 15 days, she accompanied me to school meetings, followed up with school and gave me support during this crucial period of relocation.
Response: Thanks so much Mita! It was a pleasure helping you and your family. 😊

marko jovanovic: Sinead has been super helpful and made out of our transition (with 4 kids...) from Italy to Madrid a smooth and fun process: she is highly professional, greatly introduced in Madrid's social tissue, very empathetic and adopts a tailor made approach. Highly recommended!
Response: Thanks so much Marko 😊 I hope that you, Bea and the kids really enjoy your time in Madrid!

Laurel Knell: When we started our relocation to Madrid, my first priority was finding the best school for our children. Sinéad and Steps into Spain came highly recommended and now I know why. She was so patient with us – she carefully listened to all my concerns and goals for our school. She offered perspective from her own personal experience and guided us each step of the way. Even when we made a last minute change to our decision, Sinéad was supportive and understanding. We have since arrived in Spain and visited the school our children will start in September. It is the perfect fit for our family. Thank you, Sinéad!
Response: Dear Laurel, thanks so much for your kind words. It was a delight helping you and your family find the right school for the boys. I’m sure that you will have a wonderful experience in Madrid. Warm regards, Sinéad & the team x

Marco Ripoll: From start to finish. 5stars We missed the first schedule of enrollment (March) due to our delayed arrival in Spain (June) so we got a schedule for the second batch of enrollment. From our appointment date up to enrollment, everytjing went without a hitch. We have a school. Thank you Sinead and Steps into Spain! More power to you
Response: Thank you Marco! It was a real delight helping your family get a school place in Madrid. Un abrazo.

Judy Sharp International School: what do users think?

Max Lopez: Hay una expresión. "Beggers cant be choosers." If you were lucky enough to be in this school, and hate it. I guess it just shows your true colors. All I have got from the Study Center was Love and Compassion. This is not fun town, this is not feel bad for myself school. This is real people spending real time helping real children. Some men become children some children never become men. School is not fun, finish your business and move on. Sincerly, Max López

Deez Nutz: saw a guy make a bong out of a plastic water bottle and an empty pen 10/10

jaime visedo: Very good school i was failing until i came here dont listen to alfonso's review he likes getting stoned because he has a hookah review in his profile.its international and has great installations like digital whiteboards so seriously come to this school, you'll not regret it Mr.

Diego de Jaraiz: Great school, don't listen to bad reviews.

Daniel Röhrenbach: It does not have sports facilities for its students. Instead of looking for an interesting and productive solution for the students (other schools, sports centers, etc...), they use public parks that do not have sports facilities and create noise for the neighbors at any time within school hours.

JORGE LOPEZ SENSO: He has a perfect level of English. Highly recommended.

Alfonso K: I do not recommend it for your children

International College Spain: what do users think?

Emojy Group: I am a student there and the school lunch line is huge if you are looking for a school and your not able to make your kid lunch I recommend going to another school. Also there are some broken things in the school they don’t bother to fix. But if you are new to English or come from a different country and don't speak Spanish it’s a good school. Though, a bit overpriced for what it is.
Response: Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience did not match your expectations. Please feel free reach out to communications@icsmadrid.org with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. Kind regards.

Sam Smithsons: Nice campus but deficient in everything else... standard of education and personal attention
Response: Hi Sam Smithsons, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry to hear your experience did not match your expectations. We pride ourselves on the standard of our education and the opportunities we provide for our school community. Please feel free to contact us at info@icsmadrid.org for any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you may have. Best regards.

Estanislao Martinez: While the parts of the campus might not be as modern as people might want, ICS is an incredible school in terms of both education and community. As a past graduate I can actually speak about the learning experience and quality of education, and I assure you it is a very good one. I was at ICS for 5 years and have no regrets.

Zarek Wozniak: This is by far one of the best schools in Madrid, value for money wise I think it is the best investment I’ve ever made. My youngest studied at ICS and went to Cambridge University, she was very prepared because of the IB Diploma and the teaching methods at this school.

Jimena Blue: i am a student there and it is my first year everyone is very nice and caring everyone follows the rouls and they are very inclusive at first i did'nt want to come to this school but now i think it is amazing allthogh the lunch lines are extremley long!
Response: Hi Jimena, Thank you for sharing your thoughts about ICS. We are delighted that you are enjoying your experience as a student at our school! Best wishes, Cassandra

Cedric Bernadac: Great, albeit expensive, school. Obviously it depends on the teachers but so far we have been impressed by ours. Very respectful of the children and leading by example (well generally, nobody's perfect). The IB curriculum puts an emphasis on extremely thought through methods of learning on top of the actual content and these methods, based on fostering curiosity, creativity and reasoning are great in my view. The academic results are excellent at the of the cursus it seems . The facilities are very good, not gigantic but with plenty of space, a running track, gymnasium .etc. One thing of note is that the kids there, are, for a vast majority, expatriates. The negative aspect of this is that there is a lot of turnover amongst children apparently, but on the flip side there is a great international, open minded and vibrant feel within the children and the parents. Highly recommended overall.

DaciaDuster Swag: Horrible school, I went there for 3 years and hated it there because of the students. The teachers aren't really interested in making you successful either. it is too expensive for it's expectations....
Response: Thanks for sharing your feedback. We’re sorry your experience did not match your expectations. Please feel free reach out to info@icsmadrid.org with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. Kind regards, Cassandra

SULTAN ALGARNI: I enrolled my kid who is 5 years old for one term based on positve reviews, however, I had to transfer him immediatly for the following reasons: 1. ICS never communicated with parents about the term objectives, class works, curriculum, progress of the student. Please note I have requested for such information several times but all of my requests were ignored. 2. ICS never did an assessment for level of understanding of the students. My kid knows alphabets, numbers and math but ICS never knew about his abilities assuming that he just does not know them. 3. Very expensive compared to level of education. Save the time and look for another school. I dont recommend ICS for anyone who cares about quality of education.

Yael N: ICS provides the most innovative education anyone could hope for. It allowed me to pursue the career I have always wished for.

Gãmë chángêr: I want to apply for study visa for this college im frm india anyone help me
Response: Please note that we are an IB day school for ages 3-18. You can find more information on our website: https://www.nordangliaeducation.com/our-schools/madrid/ Kind regards, Cassandra

Madrid Montessori: what do users think?

Sancho Atienza: We have been at this school for 6 years and we are very happy on multiple levels. - The Montessori methodology generates genuine interest in learning and allows each student to find their way: the result is independent and confident children - An excellent teacher who knows the methodology very well and who knows how to treat children - A management committed to the project and accessible to parents with clear ideas - A reasonably diverse and tight-knit community If you are looking for a quality bilingual education that encourages independent thinking and enhances self-esteem and skills development, this may be a good place. To put problems I will say that it is a school that requires trust in the system_ if you are looking for a more traditional model with standard grades and a lot of "progress report" this is not the place.

Juan Gómez: Our daughter has been in school for three years and we can only thank the care and attention that all the Madrid Montessori staff offers. Apart from the progress we see in our daughter's education, we love the school's sense of community and the support they also give to families, especially with the organization of events for parents where they also help us to find the best way to support our children in their personal growth.

paco domenech: Since my son goes to this center he does not look back when he says goodbye;), he enters with enthusiasm, therefore I am happy too! We are very happy with the decision we made to change centers.

Brigitte Jelen: 10,892 euros / year in primary... from 8:30 - 15:30. Much more expensive than international schools with much better academic results and environments.

beatriz petit jord: THEY ARE VERY RUDE, I JUST CALLED AND THEY HANGED UP RIGHT AWAY, THEY TOLD ME THAT THEY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH MONSTESSORI LA PIOVERA, SO I DON'T THINK IT'S A MONTESSORI SCHOOL, IN FACT THE CLASSROOMS DON'T CORRESPOND TO A TRUE MONTESSORI, LEAVE MUCH TO DESIRE THE DEAL

José María Gutiérrez: Good school, great atmosphere.

King's College School, La Moraleja: what do users think?

Pablo Fernandez Alcantarilla: We are a family that lives in the UK and is relocating to Madrid with our two small daughters. We visited King’s College School La Moraleja and we were very impressed not only about the school but also about how professional and kind the staff are (in particular Nuria and Jimena). Our eldest daughter is a bit shy and we were impressed about how well Nuria and Jimena connected with her. In our visit they really spent some time talking to our daughters and trying to connect with them, which did not happen in our visits to other British schools in Madrid. After our visit to King’s, our daughters were already saying that they would like to come back! Relocating to a new country is a daunting experience with lots of changes for the little ones. All the interactions that we have had so far with King’s staff have been excellent which makes things easier for us in our relocation process. Our daughters are looking forward to starting school at King’s soon!

madrid piola: Was a good school in general; however, since it got acquired by Inspired Group, it became more evident that's a business entity, rather than an educational entity. we had to look into other options.

SHUTING GUO: I am not recommended this school. As everything I can see it is a business, the school management only cares about money. not the best place for education.

D R: We visited King’s College La Moraleja some weeks back and I have to say we were impressed not only with the quality of the education, but mostly with the warmth of the kids and teachers alike. Nuria, the head of admissions, took the time to kindly answer all our questions and she made sure my two-year old son enjoyed every bit of the visit!!

vanessa lopez: My family had the worse experience ever with Kings college. I could write a whole chapter about it but I will stick to the fact they are highly unprofessional, do not reply to calls or emails, make false promises and only care about cashing in your money. They played a very dirty game with us when they knew that we needed extra support through a complicated situation and did not even have their facts right. They did not even get the year in which our daughter was going to join right. The headmaster said things that the 3 of us understood but then changed his tune in a cold, unfriendly and accusing email in the end!! This is a shame for a school which is so expensive and who is supposed to give the best support to children and parents who wish to join. We were going to send 3 children there but after their pathetic behaviour we will not do so and I will never stop telling about how bad they are. A very hurt and angry mother!!!
Response: Thank you for your feedback. Could you please clarify which King’s College school you refer to? We have checked our records in La Moraleja, and have not identified any concerning your application/s or interactions with our school. At King’s College we strive to provide the best education possible for our students and ensure that our admissions processes are smooth and accessible Please contact us: onlineenquiries@kingsgroup.org to allow us to follow up on your circumstance.

Response: Hi there! At King's College School La Moraleja, we always appreciate feedback about the school. However, it would be great if you could let us know how this relates to our school and what we can do to provide the best education for your child!

Reza B.: Yep... Been there for 3 years now and it's fairly good!

Xeo Bandit: Basiclly one of the worst schools for your child with one of the worst teachers you won't learn ANYTHING from here!

Farah Al bakhit: The Head of admission was very rude, unprofessional and too arrogant towards me and my kids.

Daniel Ramirez: It has been improving over the months
Response: Hi Daniel. Thank you for your feedback. We really appreciate the opinion and comments of any current/present parents, teachers and students.

The English Montessori School (TEMS): what do users think?

Barnaby Harrod: I am the father of a child at the TEMS, and I just want to comment that the school's response to the Covid Pandemic was exemplary. The school was very quick to respond to the Pandemic and was offering full classes online within an incredibly short time. Communication was always very fluid. As parents we were constantly informed of updates to the protocol and the school was very fast and flexible in dealing with a difficult situation. I really could not have asked for a better response from this school.
Response: We really appreciate your comment, Barnaby :) We continue to work to make TEMS a safe environment full of learning opportunities. TEMS Team.

Óscar Martín: As a former student who recently visited what used to be my school, I was surprised by how much it changed -for the worse-. I am not sure about the education level, perhaps it is as good as it used to be, but during my visit I was treated with contempt as if I was a complete stranger. The school seems to have turned into a rigid and disciplined structure which is not compatible with the well-known "Montessori method". After the visit, I felt extremely disappointed with the school and decided not to go ever again. Even though I was a student for the last 5 years, it's more than enough time to notice the changes and not to recommend this school any more.

Ignacio Albert: I was a student of TEMS for the whole 15-year period (i.e.: Reception 1 to Year 13). After graduating, I have seen the school's values plummet through the firing of employees and absurd and strict rules. Do not be fooled by the reputation they claim... this is inherited from the previous Headmistress Elaine Fitzpatrick. The new board is confusing discipline with authoritarianism. It hurts me to say it, but if you are looking for a liberal and critical education for your children this is not the place to go anymore.

Angie Flaquer C: Small private british education school using MOntessori method. Very familiar

Luka andre: Very happy with the school. But to ratify is for the wise... the uniforms should go back to the English cut. The quality and attention of the current company is conspicuous by its absence.

Alberto DE HARO: We have been taking our three children to this school for more than 10 years and the experience could not be better. They are happy, which in the end is the most important thing, with very good friends and, in general, good teachers. I have had the opportunity to deal with several high school students and I can assure you that they are very mature kids, with a lot of empathy and autonomy.

Mario Tinto: The school is EXCELLENT. I have few words to describe the respectful environment but full of dedication and care for children that is breathed. Being a parent of a TEMS student is a great experience.

Raymi Cakes: I take my daughter from reception and she is already in Y4, I cannot be more grateful for the education and care she receives. The values they instill make me feel calmer every day. The way in which the pandemic was dealt with was 10. The human team, at least all those who have surrounded my daughter for the last 5 years, are professionals worthy of admiration, they have solved specific problems quickly and made appropriate decisions . His level of English is very good. We are not bilingual, so all your level of English is thanks to the education you receive there. For me, from the reception, kitchen staff, technical staff, administrative staff, teachers, etc., there are 10 people. Today I am very happy with the decision we made at the time.

Pablo Gracia: Quality British education, equipping children from the start with bilingual ability and development in all important areas (especially maths and language). Very quick reaction if the child needs help in any area. Highly recommended.

daewoo central: The treatment was very bad

American School of Madrid: what do users think?

Jimmy G: As Mr. Ken Robinson said "Our task is to educate their (our students) whole being so they can face the future. We may not see the future, but they will and our job is to help them make something of it." If you share this vision, I believe this is your school. I´m an alumni and my kids go there. Very happy to be able to give them this education.

Chuck Benson: This is one of the most expensive schools in Madrid. But not always expensive means "good". ASM lacks a decent educational level in Math and Science. My son's experience during the last 3 years has been very disappointing. For liberal arts is not bad.

Marco Gil: Best school in Madrid Spain

Tony Ma: Miss you ASM~~♥♥♥♥ the best school ever.

Elizabeth Ropp: Meh.

julio de la torre: Great School!

Julian Rosario: prep

Isa Juárez: The school is excellent at all levels. There is an error in the description, yes there are extracurricular activities (music, sports,...)

xLokura: Wow, this is so cheap. This great and splendid school for children who study and want to be supported by their parents, is worth more than the life I have led in all these years. Good school for people with a great handling of a currency called dollar or euro, I recommend it. (it has very good views) Greetings to my teacher José Luis.

Jose Ortega: Very good school, although very expensive

Aquinas American School - High School: what do users think?

LUCIANO ARRUDA: Great school!! My oldest is doing the IB program and we are very happy with the academic level.

Joseph Ha: I tried to ask a teacher for help but instead of helping me, she threw una grapadora at me and told me to do it myself

Party Panda: Bad School. Bad food. Bad teachers. Bad rules Bad everything

Jaime: The staff were nice, and the facilities were good

Fernando Bolívar Almela: Open minded. Inclusive and receptive

T P: Bad

Piero Termini: My son is very happy to study here. The institute, its teachers and the staff that work. I appreciate everything you do to make it so. Excellent work, and that is reflected in how good he feels. I know you are in very good hands. Thanks Herenas!!

Emiliano Lopez: I see it quite small, I imagine that it will have extra school activities but of course they do not do them in the same school because at 18 there is no one. It has private school routes since the public is not very far in this area. Undoubtedly what I like least about this school is that it is inside the urb mount alina and some caravans are mounted at the entrance and exit of the school incredible, I, as long as I do not eat those caravans would not take my children there, very much missing a direct access from the street without having to go through the checkpoint that is crazy

Pepucho: Excellent school and excellent teachers, there is no doubt. The only thing I would advise would be to consider whether the contracted bus transport offers the conditions of safety and compliance with the required working hours so that its workers can exercise their profession with all the powers. On this page of the company I review how they forced me to transfer all the children from home to school and vice versa.

Lidia Lamas Martinez: Super training, teachers are available to any need of the student, help them with any difficulties. It encourages extracurricular activities giving students the possibility of acquiring knowledge in different disciplines. I have 4 children, three are still studying at AAS and one has entered college this year, thanks to his AAS teachers, he is currently number 1 in his engineering class.

Colegio Internacional Aravaca: what do users think?

Renata Olivares: Students and teachers are passionate about learning. It provides an environment of hardworking individuals with the drive and motivation to succeed. Its staff is amazing and always supportive of their students. We moved abroad and my son was prepared for the new challenges. His English level was so competitive that he was able to start classes with no need of ESL support.

JORGE IBARRARAN: Our son went to Internacional since childhood and throughout primary school, the year in which we moved our residence to the United States for work. The study methodology and the English she learned were essential for her integration into this change. I am convinced that our son's academic success abroad is largely due to the solid foundation he brought from his years at the International. For us it is the perfect school, with a balance between academic demands and child development. The teachers were always there to support and find solutions to any situation that might arise. After 3 years in the United States, we are now returning to Spain and one thing is certain… our son will return to the Internacional.

PILAR SANTOS SEVILLA: My experience with this school is fabulous. Very good academic level in all the subjects that are taught but above all the level of English that the students acquire, both spoken and written. The teachers are very well prepared, not only at the level of knowledge but also in the personal and educational treatment of the children. I can corroborate what was said above because I currently have three children studying different levels and I observe it every day. Apart from how happy and excited they go to school every day.

María Obon: Getting into this school was the best decision my parents could have made. The treatment both with the teachers and the rest of the school staff and among students is incredible. Since we are little we work with different dynamics such as projects and we learn not only to memorize but also other skills such as speaking in public that are much more necessary for our future work. They also prepare us phenomenally for the EVAU. If I could start over I would not hesitate to return to this school.

María Kueppers: We have been in this school for almost 5 years and we are more than delighted. Currently I have two children who go to primary school and my children are happy, they are learning a lot and they really feel very comfortable at school. If there has been any conflict with other children (something that is totally normal and happens at these ages), the school has always solved it very well, sitting the children together at a table to talk about their differences, something that undoubtedly works for them. to help prepare them for the future. The teachers are wonderful, very motivated and strive daily to help our children, firmly but with lots of love and joy, the level of teaching is high and the level of English is very good. For my part I can only recommend this school, so far I have not had any bad experience. Thank you very much for all the IA team and congratulations for the great work you do every day.

JAVIER ORTIZ DE LA OLIVA: Because of my work, I collaborate daily with many schools in Madrid and I have to say that the Aravaca international school is without a doubt a 10 in all aspects. They instill great values in their students, their bilingual teaching model is spectacular, and their staff is exemplary. Especially Valle Ramos with whom we have worked closely and is a charming person and a magnificent professional. Congratulations on the good work you do.

les santos: Buenas tardes. I have a family that takes their children to this school, they changed schools due to a transfer from their father at the company where he works and they recommended it to them. The parents are very happy with the education that the children receive and they are happy with how they were received, both by the teachers and by their peers. 100% recommended

Patricia García Lázaro: A school that makes you feel like a small big family. As a student, I highly valued the individualized attention with the student, with a lot of care and a lot of motivation to give the best of ourselves every day and fight for all our goals. It has given us an incredible base, not only at an academic level, where I certainly highlight the investment in innovative methodologies focused on learning and development; but also on a personal level, since they have taught us to be better people based on rational, emotional and family values, they have given us tools to defend ourselves in the university and work world from the first moment we left school and they have left a mark on us very beautiful for life. I am very fond of all my teachers and school staff who have taken such good care of me for 6 years.

Wences Sanchez Ramos: It is a school like few others. One of the greatest advantages it offers is that with smaller classes there is a personalized treatment for each student. Native teachers and classes in English make you learn the language better, incomparable to other schools. As a student I have been very lucky to have had teachers who like to teach and who transmit passion to their students. Thank you International family!

Lucía Teclesmayer Berlanga: One of my best friends, she studied high school and high school there, leaving with tuition. The facilities are amazing, the personalized treatment of students and the closeness to all families

King's College: what do users think?

Bea: Ignore the fake marketing posts, the school is now run by private equity and they're pulling out all the tricks. Instead ask actual International families who attend, if you can find any of the 20, because it is not really an International School. The teachers are all miserable, the school is notorious for its high turnover rate, and no one wants to work here. Stay away.

maria: REAL MASTERPIECE IN STUDIES!!! Very friendly and international atmosphere!!! A reliable and approved authority in Spain and UK. The excellent results show consistency and undoubtedly makes it one of the most preferred British schools abroad. Spanish way of living + British education= Irresistible and open-minded point of life😗

Ria: This school employed my husband, had him move his entire family to Spain, then informed him the day before he started work that they had not organised his work visa. After weeks of running around on our own, in a foreign country where we only had a basic grasp of the language, we managed to apply for the visa ourselves - and then King's refused to supply the paperwork required by Immigration, saying the documentation was "too confidential" (having the government know their tax status in Spain is too confidential?). So there we were, stranded in Spain with no income and no assistance from the employer who had let us move there. The British teachers who had moved there received plenty of help - so other nationalities seeking to work here, beware! We lost all our savings and had to move home - King's never even answered emails pleading for help in the end.

Maximiliano Caballero Vieyra: Fantastic school, great teachers, very welcoming to expats. Superb english school!

Jorge M. Garcia: My kids love it. They are learning motivated an go everyday happy

samson narokobi: Awesome school I went to in 1992 as a grade 5 boarder

Wintergarden Greenhouse: Beautiful school, wonderful teachers.

LAE Madrid - Spanish Language School: what do users think?

Sarah: Phenomenal experience with LAE! I am taking group classes and one-on-one, and learning faster than I’ve ever learned another language. The teachers are engaging and create a calm, fun environment. Classes are dynamic with games and lots of interaction (standard classes are 6-8 people.) My individual classes are fast-paced and entirely catered to what I want/ need to dive into. And my favorite part is the sense of community. It’s an open space to meet new people, make friends, laugh, and get to know Madrid. For people of all ages and backgrounds, this is an amazing place to learn & grow.

Byron Espinoza: From the front desk staff to the instructors, LAE Madrid exceeded all of my needs and expectations. My Spanish has significantly improved in such a short time. I not only learned more Spanish but was given the tools to take ownership of the language and feel confident to speak it. I highly recommend taking any of their courses. Having also been a part of the TtMadrid TEFL program I can have a well rounded experience of all this school has to offer. Their help and support extends just beyond the four walls of their building which is a gift to someone just moving Madrid.

Bryan Woodward: I am A2 level, approaching B1 level in Spanish and live in the US. I would eventually like to reach C1 level. I have been to a few Spanish Immersion schools in various places (Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and most recently Malaga) over the last year, each for only 1-2 weeks. I did this to see how I liked the programs and how I liked the locations, with the idea that at some point, I would commit to a longer time frame (a few months or more) living in these locations and learning Spanish. I only did 1 week at LAE Madrid prior to going to Malaga. But after leaving LAE, I felt like this may be the place I want to come back to for a longer period. The school is in a vibrant area of Madrid, and the school itself is a vibrant, bustling place with students all over the world. During the week I was there, I met people from Tunisia, UK, Germany, Nigeria, US, China and some other countries. I loved meeting these people and learning a little about their stories. Everyone is very friendly. In this school there are students at all levels of Spanish language skills; small classes with 5-6 students (generally) per teacher, and also private one-on-one teaching scenarios. They do a good job of matching up the students. During breaks between classes, after classes, and during “cultural activities” it is easy to meet these many varied students. There are students with short stays, students who are there for 6-12 months, and even some people that live in Madrid and want to improve their speaking skills. The teaching is excellent. They run a tight ship, but they also seem to be flexible in helping students customize their learning. I have a feeling I will be back to LAE Madrid for a longer period of time in the future. Bryan Woodward

Gesemia Nelson: Totally worth it! From beginning to end the staff was professional, responsive, and friendly (especially Diego and Carmen who greeted every student by name as we walked through the door) My instructor, Susana, was amazing!! She used lots of different techniques to help us improve. She also gave practical tips directly relevant to the our activities outside of class. Would highly recommend LAE Madrid!
Response: Thank you so much for these words Gesemia! You were an absolute joy to have around and we are happy tou had a lovely time her. We are also delighted to keep having you with us in the online format so you can continue with your progress! :)

Clare Duckworth: The staff and teachers are amazing at this language school. I took 1 on 1 classes with Nacho for 4 months in preparation for the Instituto Cervantes C1 exam, and I passed it thanks to his hard work and preparation! Special shout out to Karmen for always having a smile on her face!

Hannah Heveran: Couldn´t recommend this school highly enough! The staff are so friendly and welcoming, and my Spanish has improved to no end. I now have confidence in my ability to hold a Spanish conversation, and that wasn´t the case at all before LAE. Thank you!

Elisa E: Best Spanish school in Madrid. Every teacher I had was so motivated and it made lessons so much fun.As a side note, It helps that Karmen has an amazing taste of music and you can jam out to 80s music with her before class.
Response: Thank you so much for your lovely words Elise. It was a lot of fun updating the school playlist with you while you waited for your class! ;) We're happy that you've enjoyed them and we hope to see you here again in the future!

Austin Martin: Amazing school! I attended a total of 4 weeks and learned a ton. All of the staff are incredibly nice. Not only is it a great school, it’s also good place to meet new people, and participate in cultural activities. I wouldn’t look any further, you’ve found the best school for you!

Zehra Ahmed: Extremely disappointed with the way the school administration treated us. After talking and confirming with Karmen, we booked an apartment close to the school for my two children. But after confirming our stay we never heard back from her until much later saying she was away for an emergency. I understand life happens but we never heard back after that. Fortunately we found an excellent alternative.

Alicia Katherinea Hinds: I absolutely love LAE Madrid. I was so surprised at how small the classes are, how much individual attention I get as a student, and how excellent the teachers are. I came in with zero experience in Spanish, and within two months I saw a huge amount of progress. The immersion style classes were painless (never made to feel out of my depth) as teachers fully meet you at where you are at and have endless amounts of patience. The school admin (shout out to Karmen!) are SO helpful, caring and knowledgeable. They are top-notch at accommodating students' needs and welcoming us with various cultural activities and social events. I've attended other language schools in other countries and I can't emphasize enough how much I was impressed by this school.
Response: Hello Alicia! Your words mean a lot to us! We love having you here!

Fontenebro School: what do users think?

Javier Uribe: Magnificent attention to both students and families. They inform us promptly about everything and are always willing to help us. My daughter is delighted with the fantastic learning and with her teachers and tutors. An ideal system for the comprehensive training of students.
Response: Dear Javier, thank you for your review. We are pleased to know your support and confidence in the work we do. The communication and teamwork of the entire educational community is important to offer the best education to our students. We will continue to work to advance our improvement process. We appreciate your trust in our College.

ISABEL BENAVIDES: The team is wonderful, very good attention, treatment and cordiality. They always serve you with a smile. The teachers are fantastic, very affectionate with the children. Very good extracurricular activities and a very good atmosphere with children and parents. The manager is very friendly and always greets the boys at the door first thing in the morning. It seems to me an excellent school in the Sierra de Madrid. Congratulations!
Response: Dear Elizabeth, thank you for your review. We are pleased to know your support and confidence in the work we do. Communication and teamwork of the entire educational community is important to offer the best education to our students. We will continue to work with love and enthusiasm to continue improving. We appreciate your trust in our College.

Carlos Tarrio: Our experience, .... horrible!. In the admission all good words, smiles and yeses (great saleswoman Ms. Silvia! and Management). In reality, if your child needs support, be it didactic or emotional, or they don't know or don't want to, or a mixture of both. It is not a training and development center in the first place, it is a business. They have a single teaching model and if you don't fit in, .... . For what is paid and the number of students per class, it should give real personalized attention (and that is how they are advertised), but the reality is different (to our misfortune). And since it's private, well, if you don't like it, you can leave and another sucker will come (but the damage is done). It has been the worst life experience for our children and honestly as parents we feel that it has been the biggest mistake to have chosen it. Their service is not at all consistent with being one of the most expensive in the northwest mountains of Madrid. !Horrible
Response: Dear Carlos, As you know, we are always open to criticism, especially constructive ones, because the desire to improve is embedded in our work philosophy. In this sense, we regret not to agree with your opinion. The effort, dedication, advice and guidance that the Center has made continuously to improve the training and education of your children, with its corresponding adaptation and personalization where appropriate, adjusted to their circumstances, have not been fairly valued by you. However, we collect your opinion and we will continue working to improve and continue offering the quality of teaching that our students deserve.

Ankhana “Yui” Suphonchai: My daughter has been at the Fontenebro School since the first year of primary school, we are delighted with the method. Children learn by playing and doing related projects, they have a great time, as it should be. The result is great, you learn it without much effort and without homework at this stage. They respect the rhythm of each child very much. Highly recommended.
Response: Dear Ankhana, thank you for your review. We are pleased to know your support and confidence in the work we do. Communication and teamwork of the entire educational community is important to offer the best education to our students. We will continue to work to advance our improvement process. We appreciate your trust in our College.

ICRExpress EL FACTORY DE LA PAPELERÍA Y EL REGALO: Very good I have to comment that the school is perfect today because I have 2 happy children and very well educated with a very high level of English. I must highlight the work of Silvia Navas since we contacted the first time until today, of course without leaving behind teachers like Mónica Prieto or Silvia Garcia among others who are wonderful teachers with a lot of vocation.
Response: Dear family, thank you for your evaluation. We are pleased to know your support and confidence in the work we do. We'll pass the message on to the people you mention. Surely your words help them to continue working and keep improving. We sincerely appreciate your trust in the College.

Cristina Vidal: Without a doubt, Eva Mesa Churruca is one of the best that the school has. His passion for education becomes plausible in each project he develops. We feel lucky that our children have her as a teacher and we greatly value the development of communication skills and creativity that they explore and increase thanks to her. "Communication" with her awakens passions in children and is one of the hallmarks of the school. An educational project like this promotes creativity, self-confidence, an entrepreneurial spirit, curiosity and exploration, as well as human interactions that favor the development of multiple key skills for social and personal adjustment, and determinants in terms of the happiness of our children. now and all life. As long as Eva continues to lead this wonderful class, we will be satisfied and proud of the confidence with which the school defends its project and signs of identity. You can always improve, but when something is extraordinary, it is better to let it shine and direct the focus of improvement proposals elsewhere.

José Victor LLamas particular: From the moment of admission, the treatment has been unbeatable. The motivation of the admissions manager and all the staff in general made us have no doubts. .
Response: Dear José Víctor, thank you for your review. We are pleased to know your support and confidence in the work we do. We appreciate your trust in our School and we hope to meet all your expectations.

Enrique Matorras: Bilingual school with a team motivated to improve and innovate in teaching.

Camila Tejero Leyva: It is a wonderful school and highly recommended, the head of admissions Silvia Navas is a treasure of a person and for her we chose Laude, she does a great job.
Response: Thank you very much Camila for your recommendation. We will forward your comments. We are pleased to know your support and confidence in the work we do. A hug

Alicia Portillo megia: Perfect school for all ages. Very inclusive and with a high level of bilingualism. I have my two little ones there and I am delighted!
