Laura E: I was very disheartened by the service I was given here. The staff was cold and unhelpful to me, even dismissive. I was looking for shoes to walk the Camino de Santiago del Norte and I wanted to look at a pack and other camping equipment. However, the man who helped me was... not nice. I'm from the US and I am not used to being treated that way the very least you can do when a customer is in the store is smile at them. He looked preoccupied with something else and when I voiced concerns about the shoes I was trying on or accessories I wanted to get for the shoe he dismissed me!! I felt really bad about the whole experience and even though I bought some shoes from them I've decided to order them online from a different store and return them because of the service I was given. I deserve a pleasant shopping experience and I really hope barrabes takes this review into account when training their employees on how to treat their customers. The store is located in a ritzy area of town so I may not have received good service because I wasn't dressed in nice clothes which speaks to the bias some service industry workers may have towards clients. It's really sad I wanted to find a good outdoor sporting goods store for future needs. Instead I will be purchasing the a least $500 worth of equipment I needed for my camino... online. And I will be returning the shoes. Barrabes, do better. Such a shame.

Geoff Rose: Bought some snowboarding gear here tonight. Staff were super helpful and I got some great bargains on end of season clothes. They have a big selection too.
Gabriel S.: I ordreed two Al Merrick surfboards through Dak Tak. Both boards arrived on time and were in perfect condition. They didn't have the surfboard bag that I needed, so Rafa called multiple surf shops until we found one. The staff was extremely helpful.
Juan Rinconada: The one skate shop that has been for many years in the well known neighborhood of Chamberi. Big and full of skateboards, longboards, snowboards and lots of clothes of the main brand associated with the sports. Don't forget to bring your own skate for the surprise you will find in the basement. Enjoy the ride in their own underground half-pipe!!

Mis tablas solo se las confío a el. Definitely the best snow shop in Madrid and the best board technician in all of Spain, the great NANO. This guy fixes anything, split boards in half, holes, rocks and leaves them like new, not to mention the good treatment and personalized advice to each of his clients! I only entrust my boards to him.

vivek sinha: Like any decathlon this store too don't need any reviews... still some additional points which may help 1. This store have plenty of parking space 2. Not much opinion to eat near by; hmmm I think only one option - the buffalo grills; but that's really nice options 3. Check out is really fast, don't afraid of long queue
Etienne Maricq: Fantastic sports equipment and clothing store. They carry most of everything, have a loyalty program, and knowledgeable staff. Also, they seem to be one of the pioneers in using RFID technology for inventory, checkout and anti-theft purposes.
Mark van Raaij: Friendly service. Lots of choice. Personnel is quite knowledgeable but for very specialized equipment it might better to go to a shop with more experienced staff.
Alejandro Alves: Big store where you can find everything for all type of sports. If you are looking for big brand sport names this is not the place since they don't stock many. They sell mainly their own brands like Kalenji, Domyos.
Mónica Rivas De Quirós: Big store and good prices. Makes you wanna buy things you don't need. But if you're into sports, great.
Kiran Nanaware: Get food along. You cannot complete it within 2 3 hours. It will take at least half or full day to get complete shopping. Huge varieties and at good prices.
José Martín: This is one of the first stores opened in Madrid and one can tell it looks a bit aged, especially when compared to other, newer ones. Still, the same quality and catalog, so it you are into sports, this is it!

And on top of that we are talking about a very good quality brand. Their shoes are the best and most robust.
VICTOR MORENO: I bought some quest 4d gtx w boots, size 42 as a gift, I went because I needed half a size more and they told me that they didn't have it and that they would look if they were to receive it on the computer, they told me that they didn't expect to receive more, I asked them if They could order and they said they don't do orders. I asked them what I could do and the only solution is to go back in case they brought them but it didn't appear that they were going to bring them back or that they would write me a check to spend in the store, I told them that what I wanted was to be able to take the boot changed but not the money to buy them but they only offered me the check, it seems very bad for the client that the answer is either you come by if they bring them or else we give you a check to spend when what you want is something which they cannot offer you, they should take responsibility and return your money since they do not have the product nor, as they say, can they guarantee that they will have it again. I understand the check if it's because you don't like it or want something else, but in these cases it shouldn't be like that.
José Manuel Lozano: For lovers of the brand, although somewhat small, it is an oasis of products at a good price. If you do not know or use the brand, it is an excellent way to try it since its prices are affordable and you have everything to get started.

김재원: Visited on 14 Nov 2022 and one of the staff said "No English" when I asked a certain size. I believe Decathlon is the international brand and at least the staff needs to be trained to speak survival English and I guess the person should at least say Sorry and ask other staff to help me!
