A'chynee Edmundson: Simple easy transaction. No english, but basic spanish or google translate will get you by. 15 euros for 100gb plus texts and calls. Be sure to bring your passport or have a photo of it.

EscaPea: Got a 15 euro vodafone sim with 100GB and unlimited text and calls in the EU, UK and US. Quick service, the lady put the SIM in the phone and got the phone ready to use. Thank you.

Roger Filmyer: I went here, twice, with friends to get SIM cards for our trip to Spain. The lady heading this shop was very capable, experienced, and professional. Prices on accessories are also pretty good, so if you're looking for a cable you lost or some earbuds you ripped apart, here is the place. In 2016, it cost us €10 for a 2 GB SIM card, a chunk cheaper than elsewhere. Not sure how good the Chinese lady's English is though, because we got ourselves arranged between my Spanish and my American-in-China expat friend's Chinese.

Fatima Daiif: A mini bazaar just around Atocha!! I put you in situation, I had to take a train to my house and I ran out of battery, luckily this kiosk in front of the Atocha Decathlon had adaptable chargers (I don't know what would have happened to me without a charger🤣) also had a lot of cards SIM very cheap and of course take advantage and take a couple of memories of Madrid for the family. Recently used 11.3Gb, being in Belgium, masmovil that warns that I have taken over my data and that now it is browsing at low speed. In addition, the piece that was damaged on my cell phone was supposedly returned to me, when the reality is that it was returned incomplete. The piece consists of two parts, the damaged one was given to me and he kept the other, part of the original. And of course he gave me a Chinese piece that was damaged a month. Bryoni: I do not usually write reviews however I was very upset by how I was treated yesterday. I was choosing between many different providers for a prepaid SIM card and decided to go with Vodafone. The customer service from the 3 members of staff yesterday was terrible and rude. I waited for half an hour to be served and I appreciate that they had other customers to help, but they approached everyone who walked in after me to ask what they needed help with and ignored me, even when I tried to ask them for help. When I finally got the attention of one of the staff members, she pushed me to another staff members to deal with and made a big huff. The next staff member made me feel like I was being a huge inconvenience and was rude with her instructions. She rushed me through the process and I got a prepaid SIM card without knowing how to activate it, what data/ call package I got, what the next steps are and any proof of purchase. She just said "done" with an aggressive tone and walked away. I had waited patiently without causing a fuss and been polite when trying to find out what SIM card she was giving me, but got no respect back. My family who also need to get SIM cards will not be getting one from Vodafone now.

Lily Grigoryan: Place has 2 workers only, none understands any language other than Spanish, 2nd one also doesn't understand anything about her job either. The shop at the most touristic place has just 1 person working and 10+ waiting all the time. So in general, service is horrible. Also, they run out of all card packages after 4, so had to come the next morning, when they had only L, XL packages idk why, so had to take L with around 140 GB net for a week.

Zoe Heiser: If I could give ZERO stars I would. I opened a contract at this specific store 4 years ago, and every time I have gone in needing to ask questions or for help on my contract I have had terrible experiences. I've even considered to record my conversations, it's really that bad. Their customer service skill is shockingly non existent, and the majority in that store is SO RUDE. From the first experience with the person on the stairs taking information, who aggressively puts her hand in your face and barks at you "wait" when you are simply just walking up. To then proceeding up the stairs where apparently the "client experts" are to help with contracts queries.They don't care that you are a client and will not treat you with basic respect, let alone as if you are their customer of 4 years. Special shout out to Teresa Vázquez for being the rudest person yet! Let your customers finish their sentences and don't cut them off to talk over them, then act as if you don't understand the question they are trying to ask, and try to get me to leave. She continuously would abruptly cut me off mid sentence and when I told Teresa that was rude, she said I was rude. I responded saying well, I am the one trying to ask you a question on my contract and I cannot even finish my question, and I am the one paying the money for the question I'm trying to raise here. Teresa's response "I pay a lot of money too"....whatever the hell that means? I walked away without being able to ask the question I wanted. Can't wait to cancel my contract and switch to a friendlier, or the very least, actually helpful provider

Optical Flows: A great store place at the puerta de sol plaza, a very friendly and helpful staff, they receive you with a smile, and I get help to get a sim card for data, the store have a modern decorations, also they have a lot of electronic products apart from sim cards and recharge, I got my sim activated in less of 20 minutes, I recommend this store, I love Orange.

Dennis Deng: The staff didn't tell me the SIM card I bought (Orange Spain) is NOT ABLE TO CALL 'institutional' numbers in Spain! What kind of sale is that? Clearly I told him I am a tourist, obviousely many occassions I have to call 'institutional' numbers e.g. car rental companies, travel agencies, banks, etc. Now I hold a SIM card but not able to calla simple number in Madrid, how ironical is that!

Peter Caine: Do not use Roaming with Orange or they'll send you a bill you can't pay.They have the worse communication possible if you are outside the EU. My AU isolation cost me A$1500 a year for 3 years, no warnings and for les than 12 calls.

Amir Barjasteh: they are not good,I using orange internet for 8 month and I pay with my Belgium bank ,and 4 days a go they call me ,and told mi,my samsung phone is ready and after I went there ,they did not give it ,to me because I don't have spanish bank and they force my to open spanish bank ,I thought as we are in EU ,all the bank are ok, the funny things I bought my internet from them ,in that time my Belgium bank was ok but now not,and want to say,I have contract line and I pay with my bank from Belgium
Response: Hello Amir, to be able to acquire a prepaid service you can pay in the store with a credit or debit card from any country, but to be able to transfer that line to a contract service, a Spanish bank account is required since the receipts are domiciled , but this is not something that is only requested in our store but in all our Orange channels. Nan Ding: This is more of a review for the tourist sim vending machine. Store has 2 at ground level. There are 2 plans, 15EUR for 5 days and 25EUR for 15 days. Store employee told me need actual passport for the machine to scan and that a high resolution digital copy of my passport stored on my phone won’t work. So I ran back to hotel to get my passport. After I went through with the purchase I realized I totally could have used the copy on my phone. Basically there is a step where a Xbox kinda camera on the machine will read digit at bottom of your passport data page. As long as you have something to present it to the machine, actual passport, a paper photo copy, a digital copy on the phone, anything would work. The machine doesn’t authenticate passport, it just use OCR to get your personal data to register the SIM card. This circles back to the Spanish mentality, it’s so fixed they never though of trying something else. In America if this doesn’t work will that work, when it comes to not so serious issues, people think of ulternative and creative ways to make it work.

That the machines can read a copy of a document, does not mean that it is allowed to do. We know that it is possible and it has nothing to do with a mentality based on nationality, it is in compliance with an activation rule. For this reason, you were told that the original document was necessary. We do not have this rule to complicate and hinder the activation process of a client, it is to safeguard the use and protect from possible fraudulent use of the machines, I understand that this may be something unknown to a client and therefore, our employees they are facilitators of the necessary information. Rachel Waterhouse: Do yourself a favor and walk to any of the small indie stores in nearby Lavapies. Today the rude attendant at Orange told me my phone repair would take three weeks and cost quite a bit. She was unable to offer me any other option. Meanwhile, my neighborhood store did the repair in one hour for thirty euros.

montserrat722010: Bought the €15 Orange sim tourist card here in mid november. One of the girls did it for me.. asking for my phone when I had already given it to her. She seems blur. The €15 sim package is supposed to last 1 month unlimited. But by the 10th day, we could not use it anymore. We went to an Orange store in Granada. The staff checked it on their computer and showed us there was only €0.20 left!! We were puzzled. The Orange staff informed us that the vendor did not activate/set up the card up correctly. We had to load another €10 as advised by the Orange supervisor and he said that it should be more than sufficient. Do not recommend this store located near Gran Via in Madrid. Bad job. Wasted our money and caused us inconvenience with no wifi and having to look for another shop to sort it out.

Nurece Gunes: My daughter had lost her phone. On Sundays the Vodafone inside the El Corte Inglés is open. There was such a nice Vodafone lady there, with a smiling face, she helped us and in 5 minutes we got another telephone card. It costs 5 euros, to inform. So happy to find an open Vodafone shop on Sunday . There seems to be one more in Puerta del Sol.
