Alan: We purchased several items from Gema and Peter. These included a 17C clock, a beautiful 17C copper jug, and a wonderful chest. I cannot say enough positive things about the experience. Gema and Peter were two of the most charming, down to earth, and friendly people we ran across in our three week stay. They were forthright and open with answer to our questions, and they had a wealth of information. Our items were significant purchases for us, so it could easily have been a stressful acquisition--this was not the case. Gema and Peter arranged to have the clock cleaned and checked by an excellent clock maker. They then then proceeded to package everything such that I have no doubt a10 foot drop would have been survivable. Shipping from Spain to the United States is not a particularly easy thing, and Peter demonstrated a great deal of patience in helping navigate through the different hurdles. In the end, everything arrived without any damage whatsoever. Perhaps the best part of our purchases are the memories we gained. Not only did we obtain a great deal of history about the pieces, but we will forever remember the ease of working with Gema and Peter. We found true friendship with them, and we shall forever be thankful of that. In summary, I have absolutely no problems providing 5 stars. I will go beyond this and say that if it were possible to rate higher than this, I would certainly do so.
Jeffrey Lane: A wonderful family business. We bought an 18th century ceramic Talavera piece and candlesticks from Alcocer Anticuarios. The owners, Gema and her father, are knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Also important, they provided us with thorough documentation, including detail photographs, history and provenance, of the items we acquired from this gallery.
Matt Weaver-Yuwono: I happened upon this lovely shop while visiting from New York and was impressed by the amazing antiques and especially by the warm welcome and personal tour we received from the owner, Gemma. I’ll definitely pop in next time I’m back to Madrid.

fichaje Diaz curilla: Strolling the other day by Velázquez I decided to enter this street with some friends and the truth is that this is one of the best antique dealers that there are in Madrid I will not be able to talk much about the things that have paintings or antiques since being as they are security things nowadays it is better in these cases to speak just and necessary. The person who attended us in the afternoon attended us without an appointment and it was a huge favor since there you have to go by appointment always and of course go with the idea of spending at least a couple of hours if you do not like art do not waste time nor in being because the simple smell is going to throw you back.
