Madrid-Barajas Airport

Madrid-Barajas Airport

THEMadrid-Barajas International Airport (MAD) it is a record-breaking airport: the first national airport, one of the 5 best airports in Europe and among the top ten airports in the world for passenger traffic. Although it is still known as Madrid-Barajas Airport, in 2014 it changed its official name to Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas.

This state-of-the-art airport transits people arriving or departing from Spain for national, European and intercontinental flights: Madrid is in fact one of the main stopovers for flights to South America, but it also serves many destinations on other continents.

The expansion and modernization of the structure in recent years to cope with the expansion of air traffic has meant that passengers can enjoy numerous services and comforts: despite the size of the airport, which has four passenger terminals, it will be difficult for you to find your way around it.

Located just 12 km from the center of Madrid, it is well connected to the city by buses, trains, metro, taxis and private transfers.
