Stuart Wilson: Amazing choice of art and crafts supplies even a printers press! Pretty much all you could need. I think the second branch near Tirso de Molina is bigger .. where I could get engobes for ceramics. The staff were lovely and friendly and helpful.

Alexpx ThreeTen: Very good (perhaps the best?) brick and mortar art supply shop in Madrid by Spain standards with very good selection but still lacking. Store is spread out over several nearby shops. My biggest issue is the fine arts shop keeps most items behind a counter or restricted access area which means an assistant must follow you around which makes browsing inconvenient and less than optimal shopping experience.
Dave Dogge: Great place for a miniatures painter for emergency matt medium or acrylic inks (I think their smaller shop on their street parallel does FW Artists inks also) or if you are feeling adventurous with your miniatures painting they have winsor and newton oil paints with artists white spirits for more advanced painting. Truly great shop for materials that you cannot get in miniature hobby shops.

Mike Leon Widiner: Tip; The sister store, with the same name, which is the larger more general art materials shop is actually found around the corner on Calle Pelayo. It´s an excellent almost one stop shop for all your art needs, I use this on larger projects involving multiple people and supplies and for personal use and there supplies and service is always the best. Big thank you in particular to Carmen who is always very patient and helpful.

VERED ASTERIN: Amazing store for art lovers. The kindest people
Patrick B.: This place probably has all you may need as a graphic artist, classic facade that hides a huge stock of quality brands in a well organized space. Copic markers of many sizes, Faber Castell pencils and pens, acrylic paints, drawing paper, etc... The staff is knowledgeable and willing to help. Be sure to give them a visit if you need supplies. Just keep in mind that they close at lunch time like many other shops in the area, I believe that they open at 16:30/4pm in the afternoons.

Lorena Algora: Very special decoration store, with varied, classy, different and very special products. They pay particular attention to the exclusivity and quality of the incense, candles, oils... The decoration products come from various parts of Europe, so the effort put into the selection is noticeable. Valencian candles can be placed inside the wardrobe to set the mood, it was the recommendation that they made me and I have come back for more. Both Yolanda and Marcelo serve wonderfully. The neighboring store may have impressive displays, but this store lets you handle the swords, and gives you the same swords for a lower price. The staff is also happy and invested in their customers. The Lladró collection is also incredible, with affordable pieces on display. They also ship to America and take care of your VAT refunds! Super good and it should be in your list if places to visit.

I have tried several times to make contact in an effort to get my purchase exchanged but to no avail. Awful service!
