George was born in the city of Philadelphia in the great state of Pennsylvania on the east coast of the United States. A son of a German father and an American Indian mother.
At the very early age of 5, he began to develop a desire for hair styling. Dragging the barbie dolls of his sisters behind the family sofa, giving them all his newest fashions. A skill that later in life his sisters would be grateful to have donated to.
A few years later, he devoloped many artistic skills. While painting family and friends portraits, he found himself changing their look on canvas with the newest hair styles.
As time went on, and he grew, he was eager to enter the hairstyling business . He attended school while working in a local Salon as a young 15 year old shampoo boy, eventually taking an apprenticeship with this Salon and cutting by the age of 16, pursuing his dream.
At the age of 20 he moved into the city of Philadelphia.His passion exploded, getting involved in fashion runaway shows working on models back stage. Almost immediately he started working at one of the finest Salons putting himself in a setting where he could showcase his styling abilities and in no time was meeting great industry professionals..
At the age of 34 he opened his first George Marcus Salon where he took his talents and skills to the top and provided excellent customer service for 18 years. Two years later, he developed a superb natural hair care line called "George Marcus Haircare" with 34 products to the line. In 2012, life took a turn of events and moved to Madrid Spain
George still currently lives in Madrid, Spain and now is opening his second Salon: George Marcos Salon Madrid, where he is still contributing to making the world a more beautiful place to live.
