Apetit'Oh! Cooking workshop: what do users think?

Isabel Sánchez: Amazing place, If feels like you can cook anything when you are there :). We went to the Brunch class as family with our 5yo and grandma and we ALL loved it!! And everything was delicious! We will definitely try it again with some of the other options that also sound delicious.
Response: Many thanks Isabel!! We hope to see you again soon in another Show Cooking!!

Jason Geiger: Lots of fun!
Response: Thanks Jason!! We also enjoyed it very much!!! I hope that you will cook paella and gazpacho at home!!!

Yoana Martinez: We have done a 3-hour course on Mexican cooking and it has been a very fun and entertaining experience. We have been able to cook in a group of about 10 people, very good atmosphere. And the dishes all came out delicious. Very friendly staff, we had Vivi and Gloria from teachers and great! Apart from the recipes we made, we learned many useful cooking tricks. Highly recommended And the option of viewing the course calendar and reservations online is very convenient!
Response: Thank you Yoana from the team that was with you for explaining your comments. We are glad that you enjoyed learning. All the best.

Peach: I signed up for a 3-month introductory course in cooking... And well, the teachers are great and you learn a lot from them, but the organization of the company leaves a lot to be desired... the price is quite affordable, the course is complete with a variety of recipes, but the number of people per class is very high for the amount of dishes that are made, and you do rather little. The management also regular.
Response: We appreciate your comment. We will try to improve on the aspects you point out. All the best

Andrea Martín-Moyano (andreamartinuzq): We went on Valentine's Day, it was a new experience and the menu was good. The truth is that it was quite different from what we expected, we thought that each one would cook their own dish and no, we all did everything. We spent quite a few moments doing absolutely nothing, bored, since they didn't assign us any homework. The teacher that day was not very nice either. In the end, it's a workshop as well as an experience, and I think they didn't teach us too much or let us do much. For €45/person I was expecting something better, I don't think I'll do it again.
Response: Andrea, we are sorry that the experience has not been to your liking. Thank you very much for the details you mention as some can be improved easily. We would like to be able to take away that bad taste by inviting you to another Workshop of your choice. All the best

Ed Mangual: Gloria and Sebastian were great! Patient and thorough with teaching our group to cook Paella, Gaszpacho, and torta de Santiago. Thanks! Gloria and Sebastian were great! Patient and thorough in teaching our group how to cook Paella, Gazpacho and Torta de Santiago. Thank you!
Response: Thank you very much Ed. I will pass them on the both of you. We are enjoyed the Spanish Cooking Workshop.

Pablo Martínez Rojas: Very good experience. I really wanted to try a cooking course and I am very happy with my choice. I think they take care of the details quite well and it shows in many aspects such as the facilities, the explanations, the pace of the class... The result; a different plan in which you learn and have a very pleasant time in very good company.
Response: Thank you very much Paul!! We are very happy that you have had a good learning. We continue!!!

Bergombe bbg: I gave my husband a tapas course for his birthday and nothing more. I didn't really like the format of the course. Various tapas, without a previous or subsequent recipe. Many things already prepared in advance.
Response: Buenas tardes. We are very sorry that it was not a good experience. In the case of the Creative Tapas Workshop, the elaborations that were made were the following: Brava potato caramel, Prawn carpaccio with mango sauce, Tortilla with chistorra al txacolí (David Muñoz), Grandma's salad with eel (Dani García ), Potato omelette ravioli (Mario Sandoval). I know that the recipes were printed. If you are missing any, do not hesitate to tell us and we will send them to you. Thank you for telling us which things were already prepared in order to improve the methodology, you can do so at the following email: apetitoh@apetitoh.com

pilar Hernandez: We have done a day of team building, we have had a lot of fun and learned a lot. I was delighted to end the day eating all together the exquisite rice dishes that we have made. At Apetit'Oh they are super professional and charming, they have not missed a single detail, they are great!!!
Response: Thank you Pilar!!! We are glad that you enjoyed this day at the School. It was a pleasure for us. See you soon!!

Maribel Sanz: A great experience, a large group of coworkers went to do a team building day, and we had a great time. They were very flexible on price level, and we really enjoyed cooking and eating. Gloria made sure the food was delicious. A very pleasant experience that I recommend. Thanks for giving us such a good time.
Response: Thank you Maribel for your comments!! It encourages us to continue working with great desire!! We wait for you whenever you want!!

Cooking Point: what do users think?

TY Chen: Definitely a worthwhile and recommended experience in Madrid. Eduardo patiently answered every question we had on Spanish food and culture and explained all the steps in the recipe very well. Unlike other cooking classes I've taken in other countries, Eduardo's class takes food hygiene quite seriously. Masks were worn except when eating.

Mackenzie Winton: We LOVED the Paella Cooking class with Cooking Point on our recent trip to Madrid. Definitely a great addition and way to try the local dishes paella with chicken, calamari, mussels, and shrimp, as well as gazpacho and sangria! We enjoyed the trip to Mercado San Antón to gather fresh ingredients for cooking too.

Kaitlin Rooney: My family and I took the paella class with Eduardo and had the best experience! The class was fun, engaging and delicious! The kitchen facility was clean and beautiful as well. Eduardo was very passionate about the food we cooked and the trip to get our ingredients was a great way to learn more about Spanish cuisine. Thank you Cooking Point!

Deanne Funkhouser: My husband and I took the tapas and sangria class with Eduardo. He was a wonderful instructor. He ran the cooking class with excellent timing and skill. We replicated 6 Spanish dishes plus the sangria. We also got to sample a regional cider and a vermouth from Spain. Eduardo shared a lot of information with us and answered all our questions. It was a very enjoyable class! Highly recommend when you are in Madrid! It will be your best souvenir of Spain...to go home and make yummy tapas for your friends.

Jennifer Pere: The paella cooking class with a trip to the market was one of the highlights of our week in Madrid! The cooking instruction itself was excellent while the experience was social and fun…so much so that I would’ve taken the Tapas class next if I wasn’t leaving Madrid. They were very accommodating of my gluten-free needs. Definitely recommend.

Nonie Fraser-Lee: What a wonderful way to spend 4 hours! We learned so much more from Eduardo about Spain than just how to cook paella - some really interesting information about culture/lifestyle, and the history of Spain. Eduardo is a super teacher...easy to follow, moves at a good pace, happy to answer any question...it was a great experience! And the food was delicious! I highly recommend.

Jess Taylor: This was such a wonderful experience! Eduardo was awesome - it was great being able to go to a local market and have him explain the different types of traditional Spanish food and their origins. I loved that the class was small (8 people). It was an unforgettable experience that I would highly recommend to anyone - including solo travelers!

Ire Gen: Very good english speaking class with Eduardo! Lots of hands on experience (cooking in pairs), lighthearted session. Eduardo shared lots of knowledge about cooking and Spain, yet did not impose his culinary techniques onto the class. It was tons of fun!

Jade Leong: It was an amazing and fabulous experience. Really loved the entire process from marketing to preparing the food. Eduardo is such a great teacher.

Isaac Katzanek: Eduardo led an incredible class. He made everyone feel welcome, and clearly has a wealth of knowledge about both the food we were preparing and the history of the area. I enjoyed getting a chance to go to the market with him and hear his insight there, and of course everything we made was absolutely delicious. Would highly recommend!

Distrito Vegano: what do users think?

Amanda Miller: We ventured here a bit hung over and in search of some delicious food. The restaurant appears quite small and modern from the outside. Once inside we were greeted by a really sweet woman and seated without a reservation. It was around 12 on a Sunday. To our surprise there’s a little hallway that leads you through to more tables and another large room. We sat at one of the small tables with a window looking into a beautiful courtyard. Brunch was only until 12 so we ordered a few things to try from their lunch menu. - Patatas criollas Del Distrito (potatoes with cheese and chorizo) - Grandmas croquetas - Revuelto a La Vasca (scrambled eggs with mushroom and asparagus) The croquetas were delicious and two different kinds. The inside was a nice soft and spiced mixture of vegetables and the outside was very crunchy. The potatoes with chorizo really blew us away. For one, the potion was way bigger than expected. And the flavor was totally incredible. The cheese was creamy and the chorizo had a nice spicy, hearty flavor. The potatoes brought the dish together and it was a really delicious dish. Remember it is a lot of food!! We unfortunately didn’t like the scrambled eggs. They were very bland and we also didn’t love the texture. I still choose to give them 5 stars because our waitress was so lovely, the restaurant is beautiful and they are creating truly awesome dishes with plant based ingredients. We would be happy to return.

Jessica Clarke: My and my partner (who isn’t fully vegan like myself) attended here twice whilst in Madrid- both times were great for “vegan junk food”. The restaurant has further seating at the rear and we sat here both times. The menu was online through QR code (although I struggled to get onto my internet due to phone signal so WiFi would have been helpful). We had the encheeladas, the mozzarella flat dippers (we can’t remember the name) and the second time the hotdog- and the tiramisu desert all were really nice. Staff were attentive and helpful and spoke enough English to assist us, the place was reasonably priced for a central city business and we would definitely come again- thank you :)

M H: Tiny restaurant serving vegan versions of hotdogs, burgers and other comfort food. The "meat", seemingly made of tofu, tasted bland. To give the hotdogs some taste, they we're covered in a hotchpotch of unappetizing sauces. The chicken nuggets were dry and earthy, almost inedible without dip. Both the Cheddar and Cabrales cheeses had nothing to do with the real thing. Overall, our dinner at Distrito Vegano was a mediocre culinary experience. Imitating meat dishes is almost unavoidably disappointing. Unless you're vegan and thus have limited options, I wouldn't come here. For some reason, though, this place is very popular. And since it's very small (five tables or so), making a reservation is a must.
Response: The truth is that we do not even know that you have come to our restaurant with an opinion so far from reality and that you can read in the vast majority of opinions. Greetings and good luck.

Sapfo Spyridakos: The food is beyond words, I wish I could order everything on the menu! It also fills you up pretty quickly. The service is also very friendly 🙂 If I lived in Madrid I'd definitely come back (We ordered the patatas criollas to share and they melt in your mouth, I definitely recommend it)

At noc: Best vegan experience ever! The restaurant's atmosphere is cosy and warm, the staff is great, we were served by Skyl and he was very kind and helpful. We recomend the Korean Ramen and the Encheesladas. Vegetarian options: All vegan restaurant.

Melina Ghasseminejad: Okay, so there was some confusion at first because apparently the restaurant has moved and changed concepts (it’s more of a fine dining concept now). But this was way better than what we thought we were getting. The food was so delicious, I can’t even begin to describe. I was a bit worried at first as the menu had dishes from all over the world (as this usually leads to mediocre dishes) but I needn’t have worried. We had the croquetas (which were divine), the rabo de la vega (which I highly recommend) and the pâtè en croûte (which my partner highly recommends). We didn’t have room for dessert unfortunately, but the cocktail was nice.
Response: thanks!!

Raphaela G.: We went there to have breakfast when we were doing a city trip to Madrid in May. The food was VERY delicious and the staff was also very lovely – I'd definitely recommend this place!

Ciara Crosby: Amazing food, drinks, atmosphere and staff! We really enjoyed the nachos, coq au vin, burgers and the mega cookie dessert

Esteban Gómez: Vegan? Veggie? Omnivore? Whatever floats your boat, this place is great! Amazing food 🥙 and service. Their menu is pretty extensive and with lots of different options (gluten free included); I truly recommend the Tartar Marinero and the Melanzane Crocantti 💚. Don’t miss it when visiting Madrid!

Lucas Alves: This was a great finding in Madrid. I was searching for a vegan option for a while and couldn't find any, then I found Distrito Vegano. The food was amazing, the restaurant is small - so I highly advise you to book it beforehand - but has a very cozy vibe. The waiter was really nice too. I had the Chicago burguer and it was really good. 😍

La Hummuseria: what do users think?

Annie Tucci: I wish I was able to give 10 stars. The food, drinks, vibe, and staff were all incredible. One of our favorite meals to date. Fresh ingredients, unique options, and most of all just delicious. HIGHLY recommend the hummus (obviously), the middle eastern salad, and the golden cauliflower. Our favorite drink was the ouzo with fresh lemonade made in house. So good!!!

Ed Reggi: Wow! Run don’t walk to this restaurant. The flavors of everything we orders was perfect. My husband and I were greeted by the biggest warm smile and it never stopped. The staff are amazing. We were quickly seated and began to feast on so many dishes of wonderful food. It was prepared so well and again fresh. I orders the Beruit drink which was delicious. My spouse got their fresh lemonade which was excellent. Our food from main dish to sweets were great. I’ll be back for sure.
Response: Hi Ed! Thank you very much for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your visit to La Hummusería so much. We hope to see you again soon.

Celia Falcón: Unbelievable, how can such a small place, with such a short menu, provide such an amazing experience? 👌 The hummus is a must, the traditional one as well as the one with nuts. The Middle East salad is refreshing and very tasty as well as the beetroot carpaccio. Can’t leave without trying the dessert, made out of pistachio ice cream and super fine pastry. The personal is very nice and careful, providing a great experience ☺️ Looking forward to come back!
Response: Thank you very much for your review, we hope to see you soon. Best regards! :)

S Ro: Generous portion of the hummus! Pita bread was included. The taste was very good; hummus was the right thickness and consistency. We only ordered two dishes but will definitely come back again to try the rest of the menu.

Anthony Williams: Server was lovely. Worst hummus i have ever had. Warm sloppy like a sauce. Terrible texture. Plates was dirty. Pita was tiny. Tables too small. Definitely wouldn't recommend or return. Very disappointing food. Salad full of water and juice.
Response: Hello Anthony, First of all we are very sorry you didn’t have a good experience in our restaurant. All our recipes come from the traditional way they are being elaborated in the Middle East and the way our grandmother used to make them for generations.. We cook the best quality chickpeas daily to make our hummus, we bring the tahini directly from Israel, and we serve it hot because that is the tradition way that we follow (some other traditions serve it cold but we find the result more densed and not as creamy). The pitas are also of the best quality. Regarding our other dishes, we prepare them daily, with fresh ingredients. All salads are cut at the moment, you can see it in our bar. Again, we are sorry you did not enjoy the experience, and we wish you the best regards!

Dakota Hunter: Great service and the best hummus I’ve had all over Europe. If you like hummas definitely check this restaurant out. I’d recommend reserving a table as there is usually a wait.
Response: Many thanks, Dakota! :-)

Pragya Rastogi: Healthy portion, filling and tasty meal. Taking off 1 star because the dish was too salty and they were quite late in bringing me a slice of lemon - I was almost halfway done with the dish. I thought pita bread is given with every dish but no. Costed extra. Iced tea was minty and too sweet. The chilly sauce is not too spicy. The whole meal costed me 13 euros. Vegetarian options: Atleast 2 vegetarian dishes available.
Response: Hello! Thank you very much for your review, we are sorry it took our team a little longer. We always strive to provide a 10 star service. The pita bread only comes with some specific dishes. And our dishes follow the recipe of our ancestors in Israel. Best regards!

Kristina Kazlauskaite: The best Middle Eastern food place I’ve tried yet in Madrid! Cozy & beautiful place, smooth & friendly service, the food super delicious. We especially liked Tahini hummus 👌bravo! Todo muy muy delicioso! 💯
Response: Many, many thanks, Kristina!!

Ashley Ng: Not sure exactly how many times I’ve been this place, maybe already over 100 times, there’s hundreds of pictures in my photo.. I can’t find out what I disliked about this place, everything is just so good. You can not find a hummus such so good in any other places, and relaxed place to sit down.. I shared this place with several friends and they fell in love this this too, such a good place I’ll remember to infinity💚
Response: Thank you! :)

Dylan Garin - Le Coguic: The food is delicious and made with great quality products. That's one. Two is the service is not just friendly and welcoming, it is professional, good hearted and genuine. This is by far one of the best vegetarian restaurants I have tried. If you like spicy, go for the balkan style shakshuka, you won't regret it.

Superchulo Madrid: what do users think?

Marina Ivanova: What an amazing place with delicious food and cozy interior. Truly one of the best restaurants in Madrid. We loved the mushroom toast and the sweet potato main dish. And the great cocktails of course! The staff is really attentive and welcoming. A wonderful 10/10 experience
Response: Many thanks to you, Marina Ivanova. We are very happy that we have been able to give you reasons for this rating ;-)

Anna Quinlan: This restaurante lives up to its name - it is definitely super chulo! Incredible vegetarian food; everything we ordered was seasonal with stunning flavors. They have a menu for lunch that was €13.9 with 3 courses + beverage. I ordered that and got the salad, pear curry, and brownie. Good idea to make a reservation in advance!
Response: Millions of thanks for your comment, you don't know how much you support us and help us improve every day! We work hard to provide the best service, and seeing happy clients is our reward! We hope to see you here again soon! A super cool hug!

David Holmes: Cool vegetarian/vegan restaurant, with a good atmosphere. We really enjoyed the veganised versions of the burger & margherita pizza. The alcohol-free cocktails were good, but mainly ice and so very little actual drink - this was the only real complaint we had
Response: Millions of thanks for your comment, you don't know how much you support us and help us improve every day! We work hard to provide the best service, and seeing happy clients is our reward! We hope to see you here again soon! A super cool hug!

Tamara Milovanović: Amazing vegan restaurant. Both the service and the food were extraordinary. We had nachos, burger and sweet potato (bodeita) and home-made lemonade. Very good quality ingredients at the reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Response: Millions of thanks for your comment, you don't know how much you support us and help us improve every day! We work hard to provide the best of services, and seeing happy clients is our reward! We hope to see you here again soon! A super cool hug!

S S: Wonderful selection of food and some really tasty dishes. The queue outside was long so would recommend booking in advanced. The ambiance inside is wonderful as well. Highly recommended!

Ioanna Korkovili: This place is ideal for vegetarian/vegan options. I recommend trying "the picnic" that you will see in the menu. Everything we ordered was delicious, with a variety of flavours that made us feel like we are in the place of origin of each food. They also serve homemade drinks which are also recommended. The service is excellent. Everyone is kind and they are asking for feedback for the meal. It is a pretty crowded place so you better have a reservation. We were also told to stay for 1 hour maximum.

Insider Tip: Super colourful. Good brunch spot & tasty options. A bit generic, has to develop a bit of character, but an altogether good experience.
Response: Thank you very much for your evaluation, Insider Tip On behalf of all our team we send you a warm greeting and we hope to see you again and improve the service. Best regards, the Superchulo Madrid team

Antonella Attorre: The place is very cozy and original, their food is definitely delicious and high quality. Highly recommend!!
Response: Millions of thanks for your comment, you don't know how much you support us and help us improve every day! We work hard to provide the best service, and seeing happy clients is our reward! We hope to see you here again soon! A super cool hug!

Antoine Gamberini: Overall very disappointed by this restaurant. Atmosphere 4/5 - nice decoration and music Cocktail 2/5 - not very tasty and overpriced for basic cocktail Food 3/5 - very well presented but not very tasteful. Pizza was not well cooked. Service 1/5 - waiter not nice, very stressed and not sympathic. When we asked any recommendation? " no take what you like"

Marcela Rossi: I’ve been to Superchulo twice already and it’s one of my favorite places in Madrid. The service is great and the food is simply amazing! I’m committed to trying every dish on their menu…

JOCD: A school with a different concept, you enter and you are surrounded by its atmosphere of friendship, cordiality and good work. The treatment is unbeatable, the place and the decoration great. You enjoy studying. Score of 12.

Diego Varjak: I had the opportunity to eat here at an event and it was an unforgettable experience. The site is impressive, the beautiful gardens, the impeccable treatment. The truth is that it was quite an experience.

David Gonzalez aranda: A good hotel and cooking school with good teachers at the head of it. Good head of studies and good company management. Where to celebrate good events and where to learn from Paco Roncero and his brilliant career. If you want to have good moments of meetings and good gastronomy, do not hesitate to celebrate it at MOM Culinary. Your good moments are our successes.

Jacobo Querones: The best Hospitality Education center in Madrid. Impressive facilities, very low student ratio and excellent teaching staff. Very good scholarship program. Very complete education beyond the FP degree with what they call 360 education, which is a series of subjects such as a garden, network management, photography, business management and much more.

Cristina Velasco: We loved dining there. Everything delicious and great attention. Alex attended us, recommended dishes and was attentive to everything. I recommend it!!

CARLANGA: Spectacular, the food, the wines, the attention, the atmosphere, the staff. Thank you very much

Elky Ati: It is a beautiful place, very good facilities and it even has a vegetable garden. All the friendly teaching and management team.
Response: Thank you Elky. A great project of which the students are the most important part. Lets go cook!

David Holmes: Absolutely loved our lunch here. Vegan tacos, risotto & 'pepperoni' pizza. A beautiful setting & friendly staff

Melina Ghasseminejad: Delicious pizza, the calzone was brilliant. The ravioli was nice but definitely get a pizza when you go. The cheesecake was super tasty, best vegan cheesecake I’ve had. On par with ‘regular’ cheesecakes.

Erin Gorup: The BEST vegan pizza we’ve ever had and we really try a lot of vegan pizza. Crispy yet chewy crust, shockingly delicious and stretchy cheese, interesting flavor combos, etc. we went back two days in a row on our trip to Madrid. I also tried their hand made ravioli and was very impressed with the dish. You have to go here!

Sam M-S: Amazing food and really friendly staff. The artichoke flowers with truffle was something I had never tried before, would definitely recommend
Response: Thank you very much for coming to our vegan pizzeria!!

jordan oldridge: Wow best vegan pepperoni pizza I've ever tasted. You've got to go and try it we went four times during our visit to Madrid it was that good.

Pedro Caballero: This restaurant has an incredible and diverse menu. Been here a few times and tried the pasta, the burgers, and the pizza and I must say that I have never been disappointed. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

Maximilian Pazak: Great little spot for lunch, and great hearty vegan meals. You must try the watermelon and mojito Gazpacho, cold soup is not my thing but served with charcoal bread is amazing

Florencia M: Amazing VEGAN food and place!!!!! The food is delicious and very well sized!! The gnocchis are amazing, the burger with beyond meat is delicious and so is the parmigiana (lots of cheese🧀 🙌🏻) The pannacota and coulant 💯 Would come back anytime!!! A must in Madrid !!!! 💜😍 🙌🏻

Lennon Andrades: The best vegan restaurant in Madrid. The food is fantastic. We had invited some friends who are not vegan and they loved the food. My favorite was the truffle risotto and the dos truffa dessert. Definitely recommended.A must visit even if you are not vegan.

rique cheng: Great place to find a plant based menu. The restaurant is very clean and the staff very nice too. Small so I recommend to call and make a reservation. The pizza 🍕 is amazing. The dough spectacular nice and thin but thick enough and crunchy. The tacos were a bit dried but still good. The rice and curry was just amazing. A must try if coming to madrid. Located in the hip area of malasaña. You may go for a nice dinner and afterwards the area is packed with small rocks and 80’s music bars all over.

meg: I really loved this place. The food, the atmosphere, the music, the decorations... it's super cozy, and on top of that, it's vegan! I got a french toast and a black tea and let me tell you, that was the best french toast I've ever had! You should really visit this place if you are in Madrid. The staff is also very kind and they have lots of really good-looking cakes. Thank you for your hard work!

Franziska Holzhaeuser: Been eating here two times on my short trip, because it was so delicious and the price-value ratio so great! As you can see, we had the breakfast with vegan bacon, sausages etc and not only did it look awesome but tasted exactly like that as well! So often the dish looks good but disappoints in taste, not this one!! Portion size also good - in other restaurants I walked away hungry because of their tiny portions… Highly recommend going there, the staff members were always super friendly and helpful as well ☺️

sathish babu: A great spot for vegan options. The vibe is very relaxed and they have a lot of food choices as well. Wonderful folks running the place, pretty interesting to talk to, if you strike a conversation!!

Antonio Lacosta: We found Chillin' Cafe on HappyCow and we decided to go there for a breakfast. While there are many improvement opportunities, the overall experience has been very positive. We tried a few items from the menu and everything was delicious. The Fruit Paradise was particularly good. The customer service was great too. Friendly, quick, efficient and they spoke English which is brilliant. Prices were fair. On the negative side, the whole place looks old and it seems like it's falling apart. The doors are both (entrance & toilet) on their last legs and it's perhaps time they replaced them. In general, the whole place needs to be refurbished.

Hailey Martin: My favorite place to do work. The staff are super friendly and speak English and Spanish. The food is absolutely delicious, especially the toasts, and everything is priced really fairly, especially for a vegan restaurant.

Keith Daly: Sensational vegan food.Staff are nice.Great music playing in the background.Went back multiple times during time in Madrid.

Apolline Tardy: I visited this cafe twice while traveling to Madrid. Just popping back here a month later to confirm that they have the best chai latte and rose tea I have ever tried in my life

Miranda: Really good food for a low price. Friendly service and nice, quiet, relaxed interior (there are not a lot of seats though). We found the japanese-inspired dishes to be especially delicious, they seem to be a speciality of the chef. Even the coffee is nice for people who like 3rd wave coffee. Went there a second time because it was so nice :)

Alexandra The Great: Nice, friendly service. Big menu. Food was delicious, especially the matcha pancakes.Place is okay, not as clean as other cafes in the city, but would come back.

korgy gakyi: This place is a gem -- a hole-in-the-wall on a back street, but the care put into the preparation of food here is outstanding. Simple, clean elegant dishes. I am a vegan and ordered the Insulata Japanese. The breaded tofu was exquisite, the grilled mushrooms were flavorful, and the rest of the salad was artfully prepared. Highly recommend for diners who want good food but do not demand fancy atmosphere.

Vega Alamo: what do users think?

Srihari Raghavan: We were hungry after a long day of walking the streets and plazas of Madrid! One of the not many places open for dinner at 5.30 pm 😊 They served us a complimentary starter of boiled potatoes with a paprika sauce, very impressive dish….We gobbled it up before taking a picture 😅 The staff were very helpful and attentive but not overbearing… perfect service! We just chanced across this restaurant while looking for a place for dinner. But I would not hesitate to recommend it for a nice vegan Meal, even for meat eaters!!
Response: Thank you so much for your review, Srihari!!

Ana Dobie: Recommended by a local friend and it was sincerely Devine. QR code menu with an English option allowed us to fully appreciate the options. The fried artichokes were amazing, the green risotto was standout (I went veg 17 years ago … and for too long risotto was the only option on a fancy menu. I’d begrudgingly order it … but this was a modern take served up with super rich mushrooms and probably the best risotto I’ve ever had), and the carrot cake was enough to make me think died and went to heaven. Even my non-vegan husband enjoyed all of the dishes. Service was prompt, restaurant was clean with plexiglass separating guests. I would absolutely revisit and recommend this spot to anyone looking for some delicious variety

J B: You can travel 1000km in any direction and not find such a menu with vegan and gluten free option. You can travel 40,075Km the circumference of the globe and not taste better sauces than the Japanese katsu curry and especially the Tikka Masala tacos polished nicely with pickles. The flavors are incredible and the food fresh. For those never having tried it I suggest the Japanese katsu curry if you want to try a vegan chicken option. With chopped spring onions inside the texture is almost mistakable for chicken. The katsu curry sauce is like nugget sauce only much much better. A cranberry marmelade cheescake tops off a grand meal. The prices are below average for Madrid. The service staff is one man that works like you rarely see. Thanks Nelson. Vegetarian options: Gluten free option are plenty.
Response: Thank you, thank you very much for your beautiful words, J B. :)

Diana Špoljar: Great if you’re looking for a proper vegan meal, and don’t feel like eating fast food. We had green risotto and pad thai which were both amazing! The textures and the flavours were really good. What we didn’t like was that the waiter was uninterested and borderline impolite. It lessened the experience.

Saray: The restaurant has a relatively large selection of vegan dishes. There is a possibility to scan a barcode and have an english menu on your phone. You can also pay via this barcode, which is very convenient. I highly recommend.
Response: Thank you very much, Saray :)

Ujjwal Rajbhandari: Amazing vegan restaurant in the heart of Madrid. 10 ot of 10. Recommend jackfruit tacos, artichokes and the pad Thai. If you are like me and looking for vegan/vegetarian option, this is the best.

C G: Absolutely delicious! I LOVED eating here! Especially the artichoke appetizer and the Pad Thai as well as the carrot cake were excellent

Sah S: Incredible food and desserts. Great vibe and excellent service. Would highly recommend to anyone whether you’re vegan or not.

Nestor Voronka: Wanted a break from tapas and Vega Alamo more than delivered. everything was delicious and quick. Great service too.

pajarilla_reviews: Recommended ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Delicious food! Excellent service! Brilliant dessert! Even though I am not vegan, I can not wait to eat at this place again! After a long long time I had finally food that is 'Different'! But different in a great way! We received nice tapas with drinks and ordered croquetas and risotto verde. Croquetas were so delicious! Risotto was having very special taste and at the first moment I was not sure if I like it or not. But with every other bite a like it more and more! We could not resist and ordered as well Coulant de chocolate with mango ice cream! OMG! I was speechless! I was feeling great after this dinner, full but not heavy! I highly recommend to visit this place to anyone, vegan or no vegan.

Avocado Love: what do users think?

Patrick Duong: Tumble into this little vegan place, so we decided to give it try since we loves vegan plates. Beautifully decorated. We ordered 4 different plates, all are delicious. Maybe the ceviche can be less vinegar. Besides that everything is outstanding. Our server is lovely and attentive. Highly recommend if you are into vegan.

Kamila Warchoł: All dishes with avocado. Great idea for avocado lovers. Portions were big and not bad in taste. Service should be more attentive. Interesting decor. Good place to dinner and meeting with friends. I recommend making a reservation online.

Borja Latorre: One of my favourite vegan restaurants in a great area of Madrid. Food is delicious and very well presented. The portions are big and everything plays around one main ingredient: avocado (obviously). However it's pretty small so I recommend booking and also although it's not super expensive, the price is a bit over the average. Still, very recommended.

Rennoib Tg: Nice place, small but good attention. Great if you are looking for a gluten free place. We expected dishes smaller than the served and the flavours of some of them surprised us. So great. Expect spend about 10-20€ per person.

Simone S: Every dish is an amazing discovery of new and surprising flavors. You can tell that the cooks create and prepare everything with great care. The Thai salad is a must, just like the chocolate brownie with avocado ice cream. And the hummus!Reserve in advance, as this restaurant can be very crowded!

Alma Ben Chorin: Amazingly decorated.Gluten free and completely vegan, we had the grilled avocado which was amazing highly recommended. We tride The pack Choi too, didn’t like the sauce very much. The cheesecake is small yet great, nice ending to a good meal.

Amanda Miller: Avocado Love is a very special restaurant. It's a small space and beautifully decorated. Because it is small, they only allow 1.5 hours to eat. There were five of us and we all decided to share a bunch of things. I highly recommend doing this! However, one complaint we had was they didn't bring dishes fast enough, so we were asked to give up our table for the next reservation before we were finished eating. That was a bit of a bummer. They were, however, very kind and allowed us to sip our wine at a little standing bar that they had. They also offered us a free dessert. :) We tried 6 very delicious dishes. We would have also liked to try the Jack-Daniels grilled avocado, but that can be for next time. ;) HUMMUS DE AGUACATE Y BERENJENA EN TEMPURA AL AGAVE (avocado hummus with aubergine in agave tempura) - This was completely delicious. The combo of creamy hummus, crunchy aubergine and sweet agave made my mouth go wooooooooow. ENSALADA DE QUINOA Y AGUACATE (quinoa salad and avocado) - idk what they did to this but the sauce they used for the avocado salad was so flavourful and delicious. They also had some crispy sweet potato things on the top that added a bomb texture. BOCADOS DECAUSA LIMEÑA CON AGUACATE (casa Limeña bites with avocado) - These were also so good!! So many flavours and textures in one bite! yes yes yes! The dish came with drops of something purple which turned out to be pureed olives - delicious! FIDEOS THAI EN DOS TEXTURAS (thai noodles of two textures) - omg this one was so much fun. You're supposed to mix everything up and in doing so, the sauce changes the texture of the noodles. This dish was full of interesting tastes and textures as well. It had some unique thai flavours too. CEVICHE DE SETAS Y AGUACATE (ceviche mushroom and avocado mix) - I was really curious how this would be. Like ceviche, you mix the ingredients up so the lime can "cook" the fish (or in this case mushrooms). It sort of worked actually. I can't say that it's the same as ceviche and I don't think you should expect that, but the flavours went very nicely together and it was a good meal. Our friend who hates mushrooms enjoyed this one. PIMIENTOS DE PIQUILLO RELLENOS DE UCHUCUCHA DE AGUACATE (piquillo peppers stuffed with avocado) - Our last dish of the night. The pepper taste really came through and was strong and delicious. It was warm and yummy. The dessert they gave us was also very nice and light. And the wine that we ordered was delicious. We would definitely come back to enjoy several dishes and try new ones too! Make sure to make a reservation!

Melisa Motta: Very nice place usually fully booked! The gacamole is really tasty i highly recommend it. The burger and gnocchi are also very good. Good place for brunch or lunch!

Myles Clarke: We specifically chose this restaurant on a recommendation from a local friend. Stopped in last night at opening, and were told that without a reservation, there was an hour wait. We, instead, reserved for opening, 1:30 pm, the next day. We arrived early for our reservation, and were seated at 1:30. The last photo is the restaurant at 2:08 pm. Food was good, but small portion size. Okay value for money. Music was good. Decor was nice. Drinks seemed overpriced. The menu on Google didn't match their current menu. Service was so-so.

Sandra Mendiburu: Vegan and celiac!! Beside was an explosion of flavors. Edu, the chef, was incredible telling us the details of each plate. Well deserved Michelin stars!!!

Veggie Room: what do users think?

Susan Taylor: Have always had a good experience with this company. I order their cheeses and they always put in a cool pack so even with regular delivery things arrive cold. Yesterday they asked me if I wanted cold delivery, I declined as things always arrived in good conditions however today's delivery arrived without a pack so warm cheese. Asked why, was told to cut residues. Fantastic how much pollution and green house gas is released from a refrigerated truck which consumes more fuel due to weight of refrigerated unit. A cool pack contaminates LESS. Feel disappointed with this last delivery, hope they rethink. Could have told me they weren't going to put a cool pack in yesterday but didn't. :(
Response: Sorry Susan :(

Yuval: Small vegan supermarket, always go there to buy goodies when I'm in Madrid 🤩
Response: Thanks Yuval!!

Kitty Cooper: Perfect place to stock up on all of my vegan and veggie home comforts. It's quite expensive, but also the only place I have found that stocks the food I tend to buy in England! The staff are lovely and welcoming and there was a cute dog in there today! :D
Response: ♡。゚.(*♡´‿` 人Thanks Kitty ´‿` ♡*)゚♡ °・

Vectors: Good place with all kind of Vegan, Vegetarian and Bio products. A bit expensive for Spain. My recommendation for the shop, as you sell frozen and chilled products, have some Thermo bags for your clients in the shop. Many have a longer road home and it is not really pleasant to reach home with the products unfrozen. Thanks, I guess in the name of many clients, to opt out your shop with that kind of bags.
Response: Thanks Vectors (♡ヮ♡)

Shona Pardoe: My favourite vegan shop in Madrid! They have a great selection of products, including things from the UK and US that I’ve never found elsewhere in Madrid. Highly recommended
Response: (୨୧ • ͈ᴗ • ͈) ◞ᵗʱᵃᵑᵏ ઽ * ♡

B L: They always have a great selection and also bring in new products, which is super useful to discover new things. Both the guys and the girl who work there are really friendly and always willing to help with any questions.
Response: ˚ ༘ ♡ · ˚꒰ ThanKs BSPUr ꒱ ₊˚ˑ ༄

Nicole Tauster: Great store full of ecological products and tons of vegan/vegetarian items, including more unique/hard to find ones. An oasis in Madrid for a lifelong vegetarian like myself! Kind staff too. I miss not living close anymore!
Response: So many thanks Nicole, you're so kind! :)

Dr. Ina Melny: Awesome vegan store.
Response: (୨୧•͈ᴗ•͈)◞ᵗʱᵃᵑᵏઽ*♡ Dr Ina

Jennifer Helfer: Small but mighty store. Great vegan grocery store. Has everything from pasta, to grains, to sauces, to sweets, and even three fridges full of "cheeses", tofu, etc. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
Response: So Sweet Jennifer!!!! So many thanks for your visit and words.

Rhoda Crawley: My first online shopping in Veggie Room.Great selection of products. Fast delivery. Wonderful customer service.Highly recommended :-)

Levél Veggie Bistro: what do users think?

Shruthi N. K: It’s a wonderful discovery in the middle of Madrid. It’s a vegan place which had soft ambience and really sweet staff! I had the ‘From Thailand’ dish with all the veggies, rice and curry was delicious! And the double chocolate cake serves to gracefully end the beautiful experience! It can cost up to 25€ per person, but worthwhile!

Giedre Petkauskaite: Hands on heart i think this is the best vegan food i had ever, quality, taste, presentation and so much more... the waitors were polite, helpful, knowledgable and friendly. The atmosphere was also classy but not pretentious and finally the music just relaxing enough to compliment all the above... 11 out of 10 :)

Iva Lambova: Exquisite food, great variety of options, top-star service. If you are in Madrid and look for mouthwashing vegan cuisine, Levél Veggie Bistro is your spot. Thank you! 💚Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

M. B.: Finally a vegan restaurant with many raw vegan options on high quality level. We really enjoyed eating in this restaurant, the ambiente is beautiful, the service very attentive and the food delicious. My favourite was the raw lasagne and the raw cheesecake.

Adriana B: The food was beyond delicious! Our best meal in Madrid (and we are not vegetarians). The place is cozy and perfect service. Volveremos!!!!

Faris Halteh: Went there for dinner and it was absolutely amazing! Pretty pricy but worth every penny. You should definitely go for their famous lasagna

David Darrow: Vegan fine dining experience. They had a particularly flavorful menu and were attentive.

Murat: Here we go another fine dining plant based restaurant with amazing menu and service. Hats off to the chef bringing the menu and giving us this experience. Strongly recommended and don't forget to book your seat. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟Food: 5/5 | Service: 5/5 | Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Prashanth Narasimhan: Wonderful experience. If you enjoy raw vegan food this is the place to eat. I particularly enjoyed the "lasagna" made of zucchini; so fresh and savoury with quite a generous portion. The most surprising thing to me was actually the organic coffee. The espresso was delicious: intense yet smooth. It honestly tasted so mich like I was drinking dark chocolate I ordered a second one. If you're interested in trying raw food I highly recommend eating here.

Debby K: This restaurant had good food served very nicely (I enjoyed the layered zucchini “lasagna”), had great service, and was clean. I would have been happy if they did heat my “lasagna” (there really is not necessarily a benefit to raw foods - it’s been researched, and it depends on the vegetable whether it is healthier raw or cooked). But given that I look for low-carb options, I was quite pleased.
